I had never built anything this scale before. The box arrived on my doorstep, and I was so nervous. Luckily it arrived the day before a snow/sleet storm. I got into the groove and spent most of the next week building. It looks scary in 3 boxes, but it is not bad. Not for people with short attention spans. The final ship is gorgeous! I’m glad it can still be split into 3 pieces for easy relocation.
Bought this when I was made redundant, but had to wait two years to build it which is nearly as long as it took to build the real ship. The attention to detail here is phenomenal, and the finished ship is absolutely stunning to look at. Lord knows how many hours went into the development but it was time very well spent. Brilliant set all round, loved every minute of building it. Worth every penny.
After years of wanting the Titanic I finally bought it. I took my time and was very surprised at how sturdy it is after it is put together. They took every detail and brought it into life. I’m am proud to display this along with my other LEGO sets. Can’t wait to show it off.
My 8-year-old son has become fascinated with the Titanic. He spent a week of his free time building it (the tail section was completed together with his best friend, and they were both so happy). It’s big and beautiful — a perfect recreation of the Titanic scene.
after having seen the Titanic artifact exhibit I had to have this build for my daughter. She initially said no as she had no place to put it but it did not take to much persuading and that ship sailed. She will spend the winter building this icon and become immersed with the story and the experiences of the passengers. It is as though she will be a virtual passenger on the ship to.
I truly enjoyed building this Lego. It was definitely my favorite by far. I love all the little details and absolute size of this thing. I thought it would be hard to build but it took me 17 hours and 48 minutes to build it. I highly encourage to buy this build!
I bought this for myself as I do love playing with lego ever since I was a child. To be honest I was unsure of making this because I've never made anything this big before and found it really addictive to built. Only took me about 4 days to make it and I love it. It sits proudly on a shelf in the house for everyone to look at
I’ve wanted this set for years and finally broke down and got it. The build was lengthy but super fun and very detailed. I’ve never built a set this large and I enjoyed the challenge. I received an extra 6x6 and was missing a 1x12 to complete one of the side panels so hopefully that will come soon but overall I really loved this build and the completed look
This Lego build may seem expensive but is easily worth it! Lego did not go small on the detail or the structural integrity. This built is very secure and will survive any normal things that may happen (not an entire drop but little slips here and there). Highly recommend if you like the Titanic (as an obsessed person I have no regrets).
Honestly, my wife and I do a lot of building together, we had a lot of fun building this, but in the very first bag, we were missing parts. I think throughout the entire set we were missing about five parts. And we had a lot of large extra parts. Like it’s not unusual to have some small studs, leftover extra, but we had large smoke stack parts left over. Almost like they accidentally gave us extra parts, but forgot the ones we needed. We were able to make do, but it was extremely frustrating. Looking for parts that we just didn’t have. Especially when ours the largest most expensive set that we’ve built together.
