LEGO Custom Car Garage - 60389

I was hoping to find something like this for my grandson, who already has Lego car sets. I saw it, ordered it and am very happy with my purchase. It is a Christmas present, but from what is see on the box, he will love it. {He saw it in my Lego magazine and asked for it)

It's great that it comes bagged separately, it's like an automatic stopping point. The instructions are easy to follow, and I really like how there are 2 instruction books. This is a really cool kit. Easy to customize, and even tho he's younger than the age on the box, he had no problems with my supervision. And there are stickers.

The helmets might have been his favorite pieces though. I loved that there is many ways to be able to customize the cars too. The instructions were easy to follow making it very enjoyable for him to build and less stressful for me. One of the features that I really loved was having someone with a disability include. It is great that sets like this are made to focus on different types of people. This is will continue to be hours of enjoyment racing the cars through our home and customizing them.

I had to help put stickers on it, but she was able to follow the instructional manual. I like that you can scan the QR code for the instructions. She is able to do that with her iPad

All of the little extra details make it so much more special. I was so excited to build this with my daughter and we had so much fun doing it. I can't wait to get the next set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so much fun to build! Got this fantastically fun Lego for my son for his birthday. Of course, we started building it right away! The description is easy to understand and follow, step by step, allowing my 6 year old son to pretty much build it himself. Love all the accessories and tools that really make the garage look like a real workshop. We also love how the cars are customizable, only the imagination sets limits to what you can build together and do with your cars. We look forward to several hours in the car workshop.

This was a perfect gift for my brother in law. The box and pieces are in good condition.

I wanted something therapeutic to put together and I've always seen Lego sets but never purchased one until now. I must say, it's definitely made me want to look into getting more. The car garage theme was the only one available when I made this purchase but it's really cool and I can see someone playing with the cars and tools as part of a larger Lego city. Overall, the set is really nice. The directions are clear, the overall set will probably take a little over an hour to put together as a first time builder which is ok. The price is high to me but maybe that's normal for Lego products? I think I wouldn't take the legos apart to rebuild but it would lend itself to a lot of creativity and challenge if you have a lot of legos that are mixed together.
