I really enjoyed building the Batmobile from the Animated TV Series. My favourite mini figure is Mr. Freeze. Well done Lego for creating such an accurate model.
This is a really fun build. The final piece is great to look at and the minifigs are great. Problem for me was the difficulty of seeing the angles with the darker blue pieces and the distinction between the two shades of gray and black in the booklet. Even with a very well-lit space, the items were tricky to identify....You can interpret that as another level of challenge, I guess.
As a lifelong Batman fan, my inner child geeked out when I found out that Lego was coming out with a set of the Batmobile from Batman The Animated Series, and I had to have it. At first, I was a bit put off by the price, given that it seemed expensive for the piece count, but I quickly understood the price tag once I finished building the set. This Batmobile is on the large size, and includes a rotating display base and three minifigures. This thing looks spectacular, and is a great representation of how it looks in the show. I do kind of wish that Lego had done it up in black, like in the show, but the dark blue still works quite nicely. Whether you're buying this as a display item for your collection, or as a gift for a young builder in the family, this is a great set, and definitely worth picking up! It really leaves me hoping that Lego will make more Batman The Animated Series sets, because this one turned out fantastic!
Beautiful wants all put together. The fact that he can fit in the car while wearing his cape is really cool.
My son love it. An awesome add to his lego Batman cars collection
The minifigures are pretty nice (the only downside is the white printing on harley's face is slightly red, but that can be explained as blush makeup, and that batman could use a little btas blue). The model is very sturdy, and the kinda ugly guns can be removed without any harm,
I originally ordered this through Amazon but it never arrived so I ordered it through Walmart and it actually got here
Its the greatest detective ever and his batmobile. Great display with car info and cool little features. Something worth displaying around.
Picked this up while the 1992 Batman GWP was available because this is the Batmobile from my childhood cartoon series and I was considering buying it - the GWP sent me over the edge. Accurate depiction of the vehicle and I really like the 3 mini figures (especially Mr. Freeze). It is a child-friendly build that my daughter helped me with even though she's into Lego Dreamzzz (I'm the Batman enthusiast). Definitely feels like a fun toy with plenty of play potential. All in all, if you want this Batmobile - get it for the collection. If you are on the fence, it is a little expensive for what it is. It feels like the price tag is centered around having mini-figures the community want. In closing, the biggest thing I want to say with this review, we need an Batman the Animated Series UCS Batmobile and Batwing - PLEASE :)
I ordered this item but instead got a star wars Lego set. How can you guys mess this order up
