I didn't get the 2014 version of this so it had to be a must have purchase this time around. The build was straight forward as long as you take a little time to look at the steps carefully due to the strange angles of the model. It took around 9 hours to build and it looks fantastic and comes the a lego display stand that you build that rotates the car. This is mainly a display item rather than a play set. But as a adult builder that is what I look for in Lego sets Very happy with this model.

Wow just wow, what a stunning build.. I really enjoyed this one, I missed out on the Batman 89 batmobile so I had to have this and The Batman edition too. As a huge fan of batman I credit Lego for the detail and how much work they've put into this, I've studied the tumbler in it's real form and clearly Lego has too. Well done and thank you for creating this for us.. your batman Lego is fantastic and I can't wait to see what's next… hopefully you'll re-release the 89 batmobile one day for me to get to complete in the mean time I'll get the Batwing 😁….🦇🦇

We got this for our youngest, a 22y/o who loves The Dark Knight Trilogy. It didn't take her long to build it and she absolutely loves it. It was definitely worth the cost and wait time for it to be delivered. And if she decides to take it when she moves, I'll have to find something else to fill that space.

I was looking for a LEGO to play with and this caught my eye. I'm a big fan of the Dark Knight trilogy and the Batmobile Tumbler is such an iconic element of the movies. I got myself one from the store since the online order was on backorder. Pros: - A very rewarding build experience. - The set has very good details and a portrait of the actual vehicle. There are some cool moving parts, mostly inside (e.g. gear shift, various display panels, seats, etc.). - The completed model gives you a very satisfying feeling and just looks gorgeous. - The size and weight of it definitely deliver that level of intimidation from the actual vehicle. - It can definitely be a very eye-catching piece of the collection to put at your home. - It comes in black! Cons: - Although not a lot of stickers need to be put on pieces, I was really hoping we get painted pieces for those at this price point. Putting on a sticker is always a pain and it's easy to mess it up (especially a large one such as that info plaque). - To access the interior, you will need to remove the 2 top covering parts. It would've been better if these can be lifted up with a hinge-like mechanism so they don't have to be detached. - The contacting piece of the stand is angled (higher on the front end and lower on the back end) and the back end is not high enough to raise the back part of the vehicle completely off the surface where you put the stand on. Hence, you will have to gently lift up the back of the vehicle in order to complete a full rotation on the stand (can't spin it freely). - Dust is more visible because the set is mostly black. Some of the cons I listed above may just be my personal preference. Overall, I think this is an amazing set to have especially if you are a Batman and/or Batmobile fan!

However, once completed, the sheer impressiveness of this set cannot be overstated. It stands out magnificently when displayed, easily becoming one of the most striking pieces in my collection. What truly captivated me was the intricate design featuring numerous jagged lines and exposed LEGO elements rather than smooth edges. The attention to detail is remarkable, making it a standout among other display sets. Additionally, the inclusion of big rubber wheels was a delightful touch, adding to its authenticity and visual appeal. Despite containing just over 2000 pieces, the instruction book spans more than 400 pages, indicating that this is a set meant to be savored and enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Take your time to appreciate the complexity and craftsmanship involved in bringing this Batmobile Tumbler to life. In conclusion, while the build process might have involved some repetition, the end result is undeniably impressive. It's a showstopper in any LEGO collection, boasting intricate details and a striking appearance that's sure to be a conversation starter. If you're a Batman or LEGO enthusiast, this set is definitely worth the time and effort, offering an incredible display piece that's sure to impress.

What a lot of fun building this. The wheels were a little hard to align but once done, what a piece.

This set is definitely a cool one, but I would not mark it as one of the best. It is very detailed on the interior and the exterior. The skeleton is very well built and gives it a sturdy core. There is some repetition, but that's just because it's a symmetrical build. The biggest flaw in this set is that a lot of the add-on details, after you put on the tires, are not very solidly put on. I carried it from my kitchen table to where I displayed it and a couple of add-ons fell off. The rotating stand is so cool just like on the Batmobile. I wish they would have included a weapon for Batman and Joker. Overall, I still enjoyed building this set. I recommend it for any Batman fan. This set definitely lives up to its age recommendation.

The instructions are hard to measure where to place things in some spots and you don't notice it tell a couple hundred steps latter and need to take apart half the set I order to fix it. Otherwise great build I love it.

I was really excited about building this model. I bought it ages ago and set it aside as I had nowhere to display it. That display space came available, so out came the set! My initial thought was "wow, that's a lot of black bricks"! Perhaps that seems obvious for a black batmobile, but with other predominantly one-colour sets I've built, the inner hidden frame often utilises an array of coloured bricks to make it interesting and easier. The overwhelming number of black bricks made the build slow and at times it felt more like a chore than a fun activity. This is definitely a display only model. Many of the armour components are held on with a single pin, and as such feel a little flimsy. Conversely, attaching a couple of side components with multiple pins was a struggle. I also found attaching the rear wheels in line was tricky. The stand leaves a lot to be desired. It's just not fit for purpose. First and foremost, it partially obscures the display plate. That's a big design flaw. I've overcome that because I've put the model on a shelf with the plate overhanging. The angles it displays the vehicle is a bit odd too. I do think the final model looks good, but the build experience and display presentation could have been so much better.

I ended up hating the model and despite 2 rebuilds I still haven't finished. It's fiddly, frustrating and the instructions make almost no sense. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone ever!
