LEGO DC Batman Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown (76239) Building Set, 422 Pieces

The LEGO DC Batman Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown 76239 is one of those LEGO builds that instantly feels cinematic. The chunky, armoured Tumbler design looks straight out of The Dark Knight and the build itself is surprisingly satisfying.  You get Batman and Scarecrow minifigures, an opening cockpit for two, and front stud shooters that make it feel ready for a Gotham chase scene.  For me, this set hits the sweet spot: fun to build, sturdy enough to play with, and cool enough to display on the shelf. A must-have for Batman fans who love iconic vehicles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being someone who was too young to purchase and appreciate lego when the dark knight trilogy sets first released I absolutely LOVE this set! While it may be bulky (which it is meant to be) it is in great scale to lego CITY cars, it feels like a tank! I plan on making a Batman Begins diorama with this set! Absolutely worth it (and best Christmas present this year!) Only request/suggestion is that I want there to be more characters in future other sets, heaps of sets could be made for the trilogy! -"Battle on the Monorail" (with Ra's, Rachel, Batman + Gordan) -"Evacuation at the Hospital" (with Nurse Joker, Two-face, some cops and maybe Bruce Wayne) -"Final Fate of Gotham" (with Bane, Catwoman, Talia, and Alfred)... basically there are so many options! In summery, set was AWESOME and I want more!!

I love Nolan's Dark knight Trilogy and missed out on the last set based on the movies as the large model never really appealed to me (despite loving the joker fig), so I was ecstatic when I heard that we were getting a minifigure compatible tumbler, and it did not disappoint! The build is fantastic with the end result feeling suitably sturdy, the figures are amazing and whilst I would have loved an alternative unmasked face print and hair for scarecrow, but for how detailed it already is I don't care too much. The batman figure is fantastic and even though it doesn't have the leg printing it doesn't make a huge difference, I love the alternative head for batman though that is a great little detail that didn't need to be included. The build as I mentioned earlier is suitably sturdy, the driving compartment has the accurate 2 seats and is pretty well detailed for the scale. Overall, I love this set and I hope we eventually get more sets based off the Dark knight trilogy (e.g a Joker and Bat Bike Chase?)

I bought the tumbler for myself because I never had room for the full size one what I really wanted but I like this one and it was just a nice quick build for me but I did have some help form my little nephew and he loved it as well.

Such a detailed and fun build. It has such a good feel to the design. It's minifigure-friendly with a spacious interior for 2 figures. The looks are just amazing in person on and especially on road plates

This Batman Lego set was a great addition to the set. Great instructions with easy to read guides.

I have bought countless Lego sets but this is the first time I'm writing a review, simply because Lego delivered in two areas: one, an excellently priced minifigure-scale set that shines in detail, building experience, playbility and price-to-part ration and two, they brought back the highly-acclaimed TDK trilogy. I really hope to see more iconic vehicles from this line for example the Bat Pod and The Bat, but I would be happy enough to see more affordable priced and high quality minifigure-scaled sets of this kind dominate the shelves.

To keep things simple this may be the closest thing to a perfect set. Any Batman fan, regardless of age, will be blown away with this set.

It arrived on time and in good condition. More than that I can't say because it got shipped out again to be a Christmas gift for a grandson. I'm sure he'll love it; it was high on his Christmas list.

This retired set is a better tumbler than the one currently in production. It has room inside for 2 minifigures and looks accurate to what you see in the Nolan movies.
