LEGO Dimensions Sonic The Hedgehog Level Pack (Universal)

My son loves Sonic and he definitely loves these Sonic Legos. When he first ask for them, I didn't believe it existed. But once I found them online, I was shocked. It is cool to see a game character that I grew up playing on Sega Genesis, as a Lego figure. Very nice, creative set of legos.

This was one of the gifts Santa surprised Mr. 9 Year Old with. His mouth fell open, he was so excited! Sonic looks great, a nice detail job by Lego. He hasn't played the level too much yet, but once the expansion pack file was downloaded (free), it popped up and we were able to access it without any issue.

I'm 10 years old and I have been playing Sonic since I was 3. I love this pack because you get to play as sonic, you can use different vehicles from different sonic games like the tornado (Tails' plane) is from Sonic 3, the Sonic Speedster is either from Sonic and SEGA all Stars racing or Sonic racing Transformed. I even get to play in an awesome level, I can become Super Sonic by playing the level, and sonics adventure world gives him a variety of races to choose from. Even I can play through different zones in the adventure world. such as Green Hill Zone (Sonic 1), Chemical Plant Zone (Sonic 2), Carnival Night Zone (Sonic 3), Ice Cap Zone (Sonic 3D Blast), Aquatic Ruin (Sonic 2) There is 2 more zones but I don't remember the name of them.

What a great addition to Lego Dimensions! If you enjoyed the original Sega games, you and your kids will love this!

Although it tends to add up on cost having to buy new pack for the game, it does keep the game constantly progressing and fun.

Kids loved game action figures

My son was happy to receive the Sonic Lego figure, but was a little disappointed with the other items. Considering he did extra chores to save up $50 for the set, he expected a lot more for his hard earned money. If you're a collector and don't plan on playing with the set you might be happy with it. But if the set is going to be played with you might be disappointed.
