LEGO DOTS Pineapple Pencil Holder 41906

This is a really cute pencil holder. It was purchased as a gift for a friend's little girl, but my 3-year-old boy really likes it, so I got one for him. He enjoyed building the pencil holder and he really likes the dots! However, we are a bit disappointed that the dots are mostly girl's favorite colors. We wish there're more different colors such as blue, green and brown, so the boys can also make a cool design of their favorite pineapple.

This kit comes with 351 pieces to build and personalize your pencil holder and paper clip holder, she puts her little erasers in the paper clip holder and this is where she keeps everything she needs to do homework with so she doesn't lose anything. Once build these legos stay perfectly, no falling apart and the holders are so adorable. I recommend for any child over 6 who loves legos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit was very fun to receive initially because of the way it is packaged and presented. We liked the visual representation on the packaging because it showed us a different way to enhance our creativity with Lego building. We like the dots features because they allow for a unique way to build and customize your design. My six-year-old daughter enjoyed how the small dot pieces were able to be built into a fun shape and design on the side of the pineapple rectangular box shape. The fact that the end result is a container type of build is fun because it allows for pencils or crayons or flowers to be placed inside of the creative build. My only downside with this particular build is that the small pieces are tiny and can be challenging to take off once they are on the build.

It was not too hard for my daughter to complete and she loves that she's able to customize it as well as add other Lego pieces to the set. She has it on her desk filled with markers and pens and crayons. It looks cute, it's practical and useful and hey it's a toy!

She designed it just how she wanted to. She changes it around frequently making funny shapes and pictures. It has created a lot of laughs and happiness in our house. It does hold together quite sturdy and the pieces stick nicely. 351 pcs is a lot to play with and it keeps her happily occupied switching it up. I will definitely buy more.

It adds a little bright, fun, creative project to their daily learning at home! I would definitely recommend not only for a child's desk, but even for adults, as I love it myself as well! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter loved building this pineapple pencil holder. She did it completely independently and was incredibly proud. She really enjoyed decorating the sides with the dots afterwards. It comes with a great divided container that held each different part separately and a top that attaches to prevent it from spilling.

The build itself is brilliant however I'm very frustrated with all the pink in this set just under a third of the tiles are pink. Making this a very girly set even though it's ideal for all genders it's the little step of decoration that is causing a problem and making this a very girly project.

It took me a little time to to put together but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. I love how it adds a pop of color to your surroundings and it was actually fun to put it together
