These are great. They have a few additional sets for the Duplo train, like bridges, extra tracks etc.. They take up some room when assembled but they are very well made and are great for hours of assembly and play time. These will become generational toys that wont go out of style.
It was a birthday present for my 4 yr old grandson. He loved it. the directions were great with pictures on how to put it together made it special for him to do it by himself. So happy he loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this train set for my toddler and it arrived just in time for Christmas. I didn't expect it to be so big, which was a pleasant surprise and makes it feel like a great value for the price. The blocks are sturdy and very easy to put together, making it fun and frustration-free for little hands. I plan on finding the matching train pieces so he can get the full experience. It honestly gave me flashbacks to playing with Legos in the 90s.
Doesn't stand by itself on carpet, tiny nudge and all pillars fall, not a solid connection, need a base plate to use especially for young kids.
Track fits well with our original duplo black track, but not as sturdy.
No improvement over older version. Worse than older version in that the bottom of the slope, where I was able to add bricks to help hold the pieces together, I no longer can due to curving instead of squaring the underside. I would have hoped they would have improved the connection of the two slope pieces, the point where the train is most likely to have an issue due to the two pieces not fitting tight. Instead they made a useless change to hold the bridge and made the rest of the design worse.
Toddler has fun with it, the other lego duplo trains does not fit on it. Did not realize it was expansion. Very expensive for what it is.
