My 6 year old loves this beginner's set. She was able to assemble it with little help the first time. Now she takes it apart and reassembles it on her own. She enjoys playing make believe ice cream shop with it.

My married son loved Legos as boy and still loves them. He has his 9 year old son doing them, his wife does the flowers and now his 4 year old daughter is starting. This ice cream truck is adorable. Of course Daddy will work with her.

Super cute Lego set! My 3 year old daughter loves it. I ended up building most of it for her because the pieces are pretty small for her, but she loved the end result nonetheless. Easy to put together. We've been doing ice cream orders for an hour lol.

The product was neatly packaged with bright, clear instructions. The bags of smaller pieces had large numbers on them so that there was no confusion about which items you going to build with that bag. it was fun to build with the grandkids. Great for both boys and girls alike. The end result was a very cute Ice Cream truck which we had so much fun building together.

My 4 year old and I loved building this Lego set together! We had never bought a Lego friends kit yet so I was unsure if the legos would be compatible with others, and we were happy to find out they are! I love that they have two ways to do the directions either online or direction book. I personally prefer turning a page and doing legos with the book. It's a very cute fun lego set, I love the ice cream truck and cones. My 4 year old and I had such a fun time doing this together!

I purchased the Lego Friends Heartlake City Ice Cream Truck, I liked that the product packaging was not large for the contents in the box. The characters being included was a nice touch as I appreciate not having to buy them separate. The truck was easy for my child to put together by herself and I like that she is able to learn how to build with easy steps.

this is an adorable little set. my 11 year old built it pretty quickly. we thought it would be perfect for maybe a 7 or 8 year old. it's definitely a nice addition for any kid who already has some of the Lego friends sets, and at this price would be a nice starter for Lego beginners.

Lego Friends comes to life in a color popping fun & whimsical color scheme. Paisley, Elsa D, and Melody snapped to life in a matter of seconds. The easy to follow instruction booklets were spot one. Both were clearly marked with a 1 or a 2 with corresponding bags of Lego pieces that matched. The details on the ice cream truck are adorable and blend with realistic expectations. As I turned the pages of instructions, I was amazed at how clear and concise each page was. The pictures made it easy to find the exact Lego piece for each step of instructions. The pages are also color coded, so no mistake was made when choosing the exact piece for each step in the process. In fact, it was surprisingly satisfactory, as I am not naturally a mechanical person. Overall, I throughly enjoyed the process of building such a fun piece. My kids will undoubtedly enjoy hours of fun while engaging in pretend business transactions with one another. As a teacher, I also plan to incorporate this as a learning activity with an emphasis in reading and following instructions. I love the QR code on the instruction book which links the product to an interactive page to register for points, as well as explore future Lego products. I did scan the QR code on book 2, which links to a Lego app with videos showing how to build specific models. I think this is a great idea, as videos are also another way in which we all can learn. My negatives for this product are as follows: In bag #1, the ice cream cone is missing and there was an extra cup lid. In booklet #2 page 8, I should've skipped to the 2nd row of pegs. The picture shows the single Lego pieces on row 1, butted up against the edge. When you get to page 38-39, you can't install the curved 4 by 4 piece because you need two rows of available pegs. So, I needed to uninstall and scoot back a row-then reinstall again. One more thing, when you mess up and need to remove a Lego, that's not always an easy task. Lego company should consider creating a safe and easy to use "Uh Oh tool." This tool would help "pop off" the Lego piece easily without damage.
