LEGO Harry Potter Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue 75947 Building Toy from The Prisoner of Azkaban (496 Pieces)

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and have grown to love Lego since having kids. This set is incredible. The attention to detail is so fun, creating lots of play time, and great for collectors as well. I'm not new to building Lego, but this set had some challenges for me. This set is a good price for the amount of minifigures you get as well as the hut itself.

The set was great in every way except for step #72. The one brown carriage piece never seemed to fit properly, the underside was too big to allow the piece to snap into place. It wasn't a huge deal but it did leave that section of the build fragile.

I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old who LOVES legos. He was impressed with how much bigger this set was than he thought itd be (and so was I). I would definitely get this for someone else again. It comes with more than enough different characters for anyone to enjoy and I love the home details and I didnt even know it came with a LIGHT BRICK! Very cool!

So grateful LEGO is releasing new and improved (in terms of aesthetics) versions of the Harry Potter sets! Only had the chance to start collecting from HP 2018 onwards. Loved the lit up fireplace, the dragon egg by the fireplace, the choice of brick pieces to create the objects as close to the original as possible. Loved Buckbeak and the new pumpkin moulds. Loved how the hut is constructed. Would have been awesome if Hagrid's bed was included, but understandably its too huge a build to be included in this set. So glad I have Hagrid's Hut now! Hope there will be a release of Diagon Alley too (Olivanders, Zonko's Joke Shop, weasleys wizard wheezes, Gringotts etc)

This set is one of my favourite LEGO Harry potter sets that I own. When the set came out I knew that I had to get it. It is responsible for giving me three of the “teen legs” I own. Harry and Ron's hairpieces are the same as those of earlier Harry Potter sets from 2018, but Hermione's hairpiece is new, the same one that was featured on Huntress™ in the DC Superhero CMFs. The set also includes Cornelius Fudge and Macnair for the first time ever in a Lego Set . The house has a lot of nice pieces, such as the light brick illuminating the fireplace. There is also a dragon egg in the fireplace, my second ever Lego egg, my other one coming in the Lego Harry Potter Hungarian Horntail set. I love the armchair in the main part of the hut. I also like Hagrid's pink umbrella (it was my first one), and the bits and bobs hanging from the ceiling. I also do have a few cons: my first one is that it is quite hard to reach into the hut to grab some of the furniture out, such as the armchair. And lastly, WHERE IS FANG????????????

simple build, small and easy, stays together well.

This is an amazing set and I just love the pumpkin patch! Lego have done a great job on the mini figures, Cornelius and the executioner were a great edition. But the interior is a little cramped. Also try not to move this set around to much as a couple of pieces may fall off.

As another reviewer mentioned; the brown spindle piece's underside is too large to allow the two black pieces to fit underneath. Still in the process of building this; but highly frustrating for my son. We are simply skipping the two black pieces and hoping that the rest of the build will work.

I never had a Lego set go awry, but the chocolate colored "wheel" brick in step 72 does not allow for correct placement of bricks below... the underside of the spindles are too large and will not allow a fit. Maybe I just received a defective part? Interested if anyone else had the same problem. It's difficult to get a good snapshot, but the underside spindle is too large to allow room for the black bricks.

My step sister was given this set and in the first packet, on the brown piece that looks like an A, it originally says each side has 4 bumps, which is like what we received. Then on the following page, it suddenly appeared to have 5 bumps not 4, and the cream pieces to put on top added up to 5 bumps both in the manual and in the set. So the cream pieces did not match up with the brown pieces. This caused my step sister a lot of stress. We ended up having to over lap the yellow pieces on top of the brown
