LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Wizard's Chess 76392

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Receiving this Lego Hogwarts chess set I was excited to be able to build this with my family and be able to teach my children how to play chess. The box contained instructions that were slightly confusing at first, individual bags of pieces per part that needed to be built which made life so much easier and now its built, it is truly stunning. Excellent quality as always with a Lego product and the definition on the characters is immense. I have been showing it off to all my family and friends and actively encouraging them to purchase it for themselves. Definitely one to recommend to people as a show piece not just a chess set. I will definitely be purchasing other items similar.

Purchased this for my Harry-Pottery-obsessed 12 year old for Christmas as he's recently been teaching himself to play chess. He'll be excited about the gold Snape figure I'm sure! I think he'll enjoy putting it together and then actually being able to play chess with it (maybe it'll be the first lego set he puts together and actually keeps together!).

Been wanting this LEGO set for awhile. My kids started playing chess, so no better LEGO set to build, own and to play chess with. The box had a little damage but the set was being built not saved for a collectors item.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. I've wanted to get it for him for awhile and was thrilled to see it on sale last week.

Lego in general is expensive, but as for the product totally love it

As another chess set from Lego, this one is geared more toward the fans of Harry Potter. I'm OK with that but wish the box would be the same square dimension for ease of storage. Otherwise, it's not difficult to build a storage container out of spare Lego parts. Looking forward to the next chess set from Lego.

The chess board once made measures at 27cm by 27cm and the chess pieces are sturdy and stand well on their own . My Harry Potter fan loved making this and was quite easy to build considering there are so many pieces . This collectors edition comes with a golden Snape and thre Harry Potter mini figures. There are also three collectible tiles . Overall this is amazing and a great addition to the range

Cute chess set that is playable, fits the HP theme. The only downsides is that the chess pieces don't stick to the board, much like a real chess set, but can be more precarious being slippery lego pieces. The other unfortunate downside are the collectible chocolate frog cards. I understand random assortment, but getting duplicates in a moderately expensive set is quite unacceptable.

He loved building it. He thought it was an awesome set. However, he and his father tried to play a game on it and it was difficult to play. The board was small and it made it hard to maneuver the pieces. Also as they were playing it was hard to tell the pieces apart, specifically the knight and rook.

This set is nice to look at. Playing it was smooth as long as board is absolutely still as the very cute pieces are quite slippery on the board. Was getting a little annoyed at the idea of how to move it with all the pieces to another room but then kinda spotted the obvious solution. Build a little repetitive but then it's a chess board it was always going to be. Really like the look and teaching daughter to play after
