[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thw kit itself looks pretty cool. Look like a boom box. My son was very excited when this has arrived. My 6 ear old assembled everything in no more than 10 minutes. After that, he was very excited to see what it will be happening. The app itself if and when it's work its fun. Funny and interactive game for younger children as older will probably get bored easily.

My children really love lego and this is a great addition to their collection. The fact that it is interactive once the app has been downloaded is fantastic the little robot is AR and the videos are easy to make and the children love being in them. Captures a world of imagination!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old found this so much fun to do. It was very easy to set up. Such a fun way of incorporating lego and music. The app is very easy to follow. It has kept my son entertained for ages. Its a must for any Lego fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys and I tested the robot beat box. We downloaded the app and followed instructions. My younger son 8, found the lego pcs interesting to make and play with but didn't enjoy the downloading part and soon became bored of it. Whereas my older son 11 was very interested in the app and found it very interactive. Great gift idea but I think the younger kids will soon be bored of it. Great interactive toy.

My 8 year old loves all things Lego and assembled it in no time, it's the physical Lego with a music video maker via an app and I must say that I'm really impressed. In the box you get the Lego pieces needed to build the set, after building it you download the VIDIYO app and the set comes to life virtually. If your little one loves Lego, loves playing with apps and making music beats then it's is a winner. It's very innovative and definitely something excitingly different!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all,my son was really exited about it,when he saw it in his LEgo magazine. It came with a box and all instructions,everything,what you expect from Lego. Good quality,easy to build,even for a 6 years old boy (big fan of Lego). And then,after you build it,to enjoy all the fun and features it requires to have a gadget,to get the app,so can fully enjoy it. I must say,my boys don't have their own gadgets yet,so for this toy,they using my phone,but as this is my phone,they can't have this all the time. Overall,without a all features,which includes 14 random beats and 2 special beats,73 pieces along with a couple of spare smaller parts and the figure is really nicely detailed,the toy itself is quite small and without the app,not taken a lot of attention by boys. Anyway,they are exited about it,when using the app and now want to get another characters as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO VIDIYO HipHop Robot BeatBox is a really modern and cool toy My nephew had alot of fun piecing the lego together and then we downloaded the app and watched it come to life. If your child loves lego and music then thos is a creative way for them to express themselves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very much excited for my son to try this out. He absolutely loves lego and this seemed a great new alternative to combine technology too. The toy itself is great quality. Easily put together thanks to the helpful instructions. Tried to get the app to work with the toy but unfortunately all phones and tablets in our household are not compatible, even my brand new mobile that I bought a few months ago which was disappointing as we didn't get to experience the full extent of the video aspect. My son still loves the toy anyway, I love that the toy contains storage for the beatbits inside it, will save them getting lost!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We downloaded the app for this game on a few different phones as the app seemed to be struggling. I believe it's due to being new, updates have been added. Building and designing the video was fun but taking the picture of the Lego for the video became difficult and needed an adult to take over to line up to work fully. This has got easier knowing how to line it up to work. There is alot of laughs in the whole family while watching videos back and placing videos to film on dad's face for breakdancing moves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Age range on the box is perfect, great for 7years +. A bit too fiddly for my younger child. The toy itself is great, classic lego with attitude, fun for the kids to play with. The app however is clunky. Loading times are long and by the time you actually get to create the video you're bored with having to wait so long. It's a shame as the main point is to make videos! The AR idea is nice but execution needs some work.
