Which is the fantastic thing about Lego, you can spend 30minutes here and there building away. The instructions are mostly easily to follow. I'm autistic so sometimes the images I perceive are back to front (difficult to explain) but I always figure them out. I bought this for myself as a lover of botany and the set did not disappoint. The pictures on LEGOs website do not do it justice! It looks gorgeous displayed on my desk and I have great enjoyment tweaking the branches and fiddling with it. Great set to customise yourself and good value for money. Love the ingeneous idea of loose studs as pebbles and also think it looks quite nice with a mixture of the two foliage options!

I bought this bonsai build during a week off work as an activity that didn't involve a screen. It is perfect for that. It took me one evening and one morning to complete. The trunk is the hardest part to get right but it's satisfying when you get it done. I also appreciate how clever the shape of the branches are, it genuinely looks like a little tree. I chose the pink frog cherry blossom version as I find the frogs adorable and I love blossom. I also made the bottom stand which honestly completes the authenticity of the look. It now has pride of place on my at home desk.

I wanted the Lego Bonsai Tree the second I saw it so when it finally came back in stock I didn't hesitate and it didn't disappoint. Although it can be a little fiddly at times, it's a lovely, relatively quick build that looks beautiful when complete. The choice of foliage is lovely, as is the fact that the set is one of the first to have plant based pieces! I'd recommend this highly and can't wait for the bouquet to be available too!

This is such an adorable product! I love that I can change the seasonal look, and the frogs that make up the blossoms are to cute!!!

I did not realize there were pink frogs. I bought this to create a cherry blossom bonsai. Frogs were creeping me out, so we mixed green and fuchsia flowers to create what's on the picture. We like it a lot. It is now displayed on our dresser. Thank you Lego for creating something for adults to build and enjoy!

I like bonsai tree, I think it's an excellent set : it's creative &intricate. However, as amusing as it is, I wonder why there are 101 frogs on a bonsai tree. Didn't check the set details and purchased because I really liked the set and I thought it would be flower blossoms like Sakura (although it doesn't make sense to have Sakura on bonsai trees neither) but frogs ? really? I feel frogged.

It's a good sized kit, well thought out and put together except for one thing. While following the instructions/pictograms for brick layout , I think the use of white lines instead of the usual black to show individual brick layout would have sped up the process and make it simpler to identify brick placement. It's also nice to know I can change the canopy during spring

It was an easy build. The instructions were clear and concise if not a bit repetitive. It is great to have the interchangeable buds depending on preference. The loose pieces to mimic the soil can be easily lost.

The bonsai tree is great to start, has you get to the branches the trunk starts to break and fall to bits. Not a good model and so many small pieces not to lose.
