Concorde is simply an engineering marvel and originally I was going to buy a die cast model before I saw that Lego had a version. I have loved Concorde ever since I was a child and witnessed it take off from London Heathrow with my father. I never had the chance to fly on her, but this is Lego and witnessing her was the next best thing. Constructing this with the materials from lego was simply incredible and I couldn't stop smiling on the putting every single detail to tougher and the overall dimensions of it, fits perfectly in my office. So much more than Lego, it is childhood nostalgia hence I sourced the British Airways stickers on the livery we saw! Maybe just maybe I buy another one and place the last livery on her too... Highly recommend buying and you won't be disappointed at all :)

This makes a great display model, there's not many features however I don't think it is a problem. It was great and easy to build I would like to Lego make more airplanes like this in the future maybe not the same size but detail. If there's 1 thing Lego could work on would be working on there white pieces as you notice different shades of white throughout the kit.

This has been my favourite build. I also loved titanic but concord was quite different. It was full of surprises all the way through right up to building the last part - the stand. I was building it curious as to how this odd shaped thing would hold so much weight. The engineering of this design is staggering. Amazing weight balance. Amazing new pieces. Amazing thought and it looks so great. Guarantee you won't be dissapointed and congratulations to the design team.

This is definitely the best Lego set in 2023 as I missed out on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from 2008 the build was not even challenging to it together and everything worked as intended I would definitely want Lego to make more passenger airliners in the future

In reverse ok, the guys at Lego nailed this design. They have managed to capture the real design of the jet and combine it with their elements of the essence of the design. To the team of 5 who designed this model I say well done, you aced it. The build is extremely satisfying and I used the online version of the instructions as I find it easier at my age seeing a larger schematic. Dont get me wring, it is still fairly technical and once you remove the interim orange supports from the wings, the model can be very fragile if not handled with extreme care. Ifound this out the hard way but after around 60 very tense minutes, I managed to salvage ther buld. If you are going to biuld this icon, be very careful until you get 2/3 of the fusealge built so it supports the wings. When it is complete, it is as solid as a rock though. The droop nose is awesome abut the retractable landing gear blew me away, another reason to buy it as it looks just stunning in flight mode or take-off-landing mode. To sum up the build and final product is that it is simply stunning... Another awesome icon from Team Lego.

This is the best ICON set yet, even outdoing my much favoured Saturn V and my Titanic. I will say I was distracted by my pet dog during the build and missed a vital Technic component. It didn't manifest itself until I reached bag 13 and went to lower the gear. I had to fully disassemble and start again to fit the piece. So do please pay careful attention during the build. I'm the end though a magnificent aircraft emerges and has pride of place on my dining table. Photo 1 - short finals at Heathrow. Photo 2 - climbing to Mach 2 on full afterburner!

When I saw this set was coming out, I immediately knew I wanted. This set is definitely one of the coolest sets I've ever owned. I like that it has a detailed exterior, from the bending cockpit to the retractable landing gear. I also like that they did not spend a lot of time on the interior, but still included a couple of interior airplane components. This set is very sturdy and incredibly easy to move around. The stand is also very sturdy and can hold up the plane without any issues. Another thing that I really loved were the temporary support pieces that you would take on and off throughout the build to prevent it from coming apart when you were building it. Overall, this set is definitely recommended for any Lego or airplane lover.

I'm 76 and this is my first Lego build. I saw it mentioned on another site and after looking it up knew that I had to have it, especially a i'm a lifelong aviation enthusiast and modeller (Trains and boats and planes etc.). The box comes with 21 bags so I decided to do one bag a night. It took me a bit longer than 21 days. The wing is built up as a single layer of bricks from back to front with the bottom of the top half of the fuselages and undercarriage retraction mechanism, unfortunately for me it all kept falling apart as I turned it about to fit the next step; very frustrating. But I persevered and got there in the end. Now it is finished and on itsstand it is well worth the trials and tribulations. The Stand really sets it off as it can be posed either in takeoff mode, landing mode with flaps and undercarriage down with the nose drooped, or all cleaned up in 'climb to altitude' mode. Another alternative is taxiing as the undercarriage is sturdy enough to take the weight. All in all I am pleased i bought my first Lego model so late in life, even one thgat is so 'technical' and, for me, a challenging build. I'm already looking to my next build, Titanic, Rescue Helicopter and Firefighting aircraft. When they are done they will be going to model shows with my other stuff.

I really enjoyed this build and even though I never flew on a Concorde I'm old enough to remember the attraction of flying to NYC from London and arriving before you left!! There's a lot to like about the build and all the functions that you discover as you put everything together. My only complaints: the white bricks aren't all the same shade of white, which is a bit annoying when you're inspecting the end result. Also I wish Lego had provided options for a BA (or AF, or even SQ) liveried version as that's what I remembered back in the day. As it is I had to resort to stickers and some replacement parts to make it look more like one of the actual planes. Must also comment Lego on the little notes in the printed instruction book, but the functionality of the Builder app. Now too work out where or how I display this beast of a Lego.

As on school reports could do better although an enjoyable build the landing gear mechanism works well but I feel quality let's the whole thing down. The main problem was discoloured bricks also I think Lego is using different plastic as some of the bricks felt like fake Lego soft oily and didn't have the Lego click when pressed home. Just don't expect dirty looking discoloured bricks on models like this. Really hate giving a review like this but it's the only way to let Lego know.
