I have built quite a few Lego cars, but this one has flowed the best in the building process. Everything fits together perfectly. I suggest using the instructions in the Lego app, because you can rotate the pictures in the steps to get a better look at how the pieces line up. This set is out of stock at the Lego store but in stock at Walmart. Great find!
Solid build with nice curves and excellent fit of doors, hood, and trunk. Custom silver detail on some body parts is nice look. Would have liked silver toned trim parts verses light grey. Also a decal for the air filter cover. A really dense build that I managed to stretch over 3 days, the model displays best with the top off. Compound action on the hood and trunk make for good access and the hidden trunk opener is cool. Had to laugh at the banana bumpers! All in all another well designed, intricate build with plenty of detail and some interesting repurposed parts
This item was clearanced out at other locations but full price through walmart. I only ordered through walmart because I could ensure it was available. But I had to pay full price. AND I had to order it twice because my order was shipped poorly the first time and damaged on arrival.
I have a few of these car sets and all of them look so much better in person than in the photos. I appreciate the different ways LEGO finds to make the complex shapes and in particular the detail of the interiors. The Corvette is not a car I was interested in, but it really is impressive how it comes together and the attention to small details of the actual car. I also like that these similar car sets are all the same approximate scale - they look great lined up together.
Husband loves it! He even spends time looking at the history and stories in the assembly instruction book.

Great build really enjoyable with some fun details , only issue in my opinion is the un-finished looking roof , with uncovered studs .
I have built my fair share of lego over the years both as a child and adult, actually building more as an adult. I was initially very excited about this set as the corvette is my all time favorite car. I understood that it wasn't a large set and not a technics build either, however I felt there could be more attention to detail. I also found the build to be extremely easy for an 18+ set. Even with the not so large piece count I expected a more challenging build than this. It looks great when finished but still a few key elements are just missing that I feel could have been easily added or at least done differently to give a more authentic look. For whatever reason this set feels rushed
I have found the build experience with this set not as fun as I'd hoped. I collect all these types of LEGO vehicle sets and this would have to be one of the worst to build. Alongside the original VW Kombi. The LEGO designer should really consider the building experience better as it has been lost with a lot of these types of sets.
Item came on a random UPS box with a piece of the original box attached . I purchased this as a present for my son . I'm sorry but it's going back to Walmart
