Absolutely brilliant build. Loved every minute building it. There were some challenges along the way but just took a break to figure them out. I read a lot about the build being repetitive, I did not feel that has I was absolutely enthralled seeing the build come together. A stunning looking piece. I also read it is not very stable. This is not my experience, it is very stable considering it's size. Love it, thank you Lego and your designer's. More big sets please
What a set! As of now I haven't build the eiffle tower yet because I have no real good spot to put it in my room as it's quite small and the Lego set is quite huge! But I wanted to secure this set before it could possibly get retired and it was a big dream set to acquire and I'm super happy to get to building the set soon hopefully and didn't want to start just yet as I was scared my 2 cats would knock it over. This is also why I havent filled in the build experience and play experience yet but I can't wait to build it! Overall the team behind the design for this Lego Eiffel Tower set is truly one for the history books and looking forward to seeing it fully built in my room soon!
Reviews that mention how repetitive the build is, as well as those critiquing how easily things get misaligned or pop loose--they're not wrong. On the other hand, it's a very meditative build; watching the tower come together bit by bit was fascinating. Its a challenging one--bits can get only slightly misaligned but still cause ft problems, and it handles flex poorly, even more than other models. That being said, it was very much worth the effort.
This was by far the most fulfilling LEGO set to build. Out of 10,001 pieces not a single one was missing. The instructions were very clear how to attarch legs and join parts. Absolutely eye catching and a joy to look at. Gave a 1 for play experience because it's a piece of art. Overall extremely happy to choose this over the TITANIC set because I like the detail it includes.
My granddaughter, who is eleven, loves to build Lego. She has tackled some of the most challenging models. The Grand Piano and Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block were probably the most challenging for her, but she sails through them. She can even watch her Ipad while doing the Tower. She is pretty amazing.
Bought this set to satisfy my crave for big lego sets, and this set did not disappoint. Unbelievably tedious and repetitive, but the final product is absolutely worth the time and effort. Phenomenal build.
this was a really good set and i loved it, was a fun build at first, however once i got half way through the set i became a bit small for the set and needed more than one person to build it. due to this i wasnt able to complete the set as i live alone and had to sell it to someone else. i am 5 foot 3 so next time when i purchanse i now know i will need a second person
It was a great, but hard build. We bought this for our 10 year old, who is crazy for Lego! He said that when you put the rollercoaster parts on then the viewing section, the rollercoaster parts fell off multiple times. Although that part was hard the rest of the build was repetitive and it took nearly 1 week but it was worth it for that great final result! He loves it and it looks amazing!
I wasn't impressed. The tower is ridiculously fragile and is not that appealing to look at. It is very tedious and repetitive to do. The arch parts didn't want to stay connected and some other parts as well. It is not worth the money to get. Really not happy.
The Eiffel Tower sucks!!! I hate it! Once you get the parts together they fall apart when attaching them together! I've never had so many problems with a set before like this one! The legs won't even stay attached! Worst Lego set ever!
