LEGO Icons Eldorado Fortress 10320

I loved the Pirates theme as a kid in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, and I always regretted not getting any of the Imperial sets at the time. This whole build made me smile, and there's a lot more heft to the finished product than I expected. It takes up my whole building area! It looks like it will be a great companion piece to the Pirates of Barracuda Bay set from a few years ago.

[Employee of lego-global] This is such a lovely build. It teaches you modern building techniques and makes you go "what could this possibly be?" and then "ooooh, I see" a lot. As a child, I never got to have any big sets as I grew up poor in a poor country. Being able to purchase and build this set now as an adult means more to me than you can imagine. I hope the LEGO group will revive and remaster more of these sets from the past. Every generation should be able to enjoy these amazing sets 😊

Having this set as a child and playing with it, and still having that complete set now has given me amazing memories. Now the new set with the new building techniques has brought back all the times of playing on my blue carpet living room floor playing with all my pirate sets. This is set is currently sat with my pirates of barracuda bay set on permanent display in my house. Highly recommend buying this.

Firstly, congrats to Lego to 'reviving' a set from many people's childhood past. The subtle changes from the first version to this one are impressive to see. I would echo some commentary in the fact that the amount of bricks required to build the 'rock base' did become a bit repetitive. As well, the 'string' used for the crane is not ideal - how about we look to get a bit thicker / firmer rope for this in future sets? However, I would also mention that the change from 'wall panels' to brick built walls is a nice change, and allowed for a lot more functionality + playability afterwards. The improved boat is a great addition - and the added characters is great to see! Finally, the ability to 'break out' different parts of the build to re-configure the entire fort is great, and I'm sure a ton of people will enjoy that added change. Congrats to Lego and the design team - it's a great addition to the childhood nostalgia theme that Lego is leaning in to.

I grew up with lego throughout the 90s. My favorite was always the pirate sets..... I think my first set ever was a pirate set. This set brought me back to my childhood and allowed me to share it with my kids. The modular design was a fantastic addition....especially since our hands are not as small as they use to be. Also the addition of a ship was an excellent touch. I was skeptical at first without the original baseplate....but it was actually alot nicer and looks amazing. My only real complaint or point to improve would be to use 90s style palm trees and monkey.

This set plays a lot on nostalgia with it being very similar to the original set it is based on. I've got to say its done well and updates things to current Lego building techniques and parts but also keeps the spirit of the original. I wasn't lucky enough to have this set as a child but did get to play with it at a friends house so when I saw it was getting a remake I had to buy it. A core memory I have of the set it the prison cell built into the base plate and I was so happy to see that this made it into the new set in brick built form. The set fits right in along side my other pirate themed sets.

This set is absolutely insane! Such a good set with great builds and figures! This set screams fun and summer to me! I was on the fence of buying it but I pulled the trigger and did not regret it! The only problem with this set is the palm trees. They were such a pain to build but other than that, this set looks beautiful on display and is a nice larger Lego set to add to anyone's collection!

Probably the best lego set i have ever built, popping colors, ingenious technique, no cut corners *chefs kiss* easy 11/10, will recommend to anyone.

8 year old has been begging for this, finally bit the bullet and got it for his birthday…he spent 2 weeks assembling it and LOVES it!

This is a fantastic set and was really enjoyable to build. Having fun trying to work out the best way to display it too. Only issue I found is the right side yellow column piece is only supported by a 2x2 tile and the amount of times it would come lose when building was too much.
