LEGO Icons Transformers: Soundwave - Building Set W/Sound Effects for Adults, 18+ - Model Kit W/Ravage & Laserbeak Figures - DIY Home Decor - Collectible Gift Idea for Sci-FI & Movie Fans - 10358

I am a big Transformers OG fan and bought this on the day it was released. This is an amazing recreation of the OG and is super accurate, better articulated and poseable than the previous two. I love that you get 3 Transformers in one. Faults? In robot mode Soundwave tends to be front heavy and leans forwards. In alternate mode the arms hang out the back and makes the transformation look half complete. As always with Lego, a bit expensive but you do get the quality that is Lego. I hope Lego will make available more cassettes as standalone sets in the future. This is a must have for anyone with the slightest interest in Transformers.

This is by far one of the best sets I own. I currently have all of the transformers models and this one I feel is the most loyal to the original. It included ravage and lazerbeak and once they have been transformed they also go in his chest. There are currently 3 Lego sets with sound bricks. This is one third of them capturing Soundwaves iconic voice, along with other nostalgic sound effects. My only gripe is the feet. They are easy to ‘push in' which compromises the stability of the model while trying to pose it. But ultimately this is a fantastic model.

Old line but very true. Trying to figure out what your making with each step is part of unraveling the fun. I decided that Soundwave wasn't complete without Megatron. So...I created my own using some spare Lego components. I even made my own version of Soundwave (non transformable).

I grew up with Beast Wars rather than G1 Transformers, but if you had asked me which Transformers I would want Lego models of Optimus Prime and Soundwave would be top of that list. I'm very excited to have both of these on my shelf now. They're great building experiences, and having a Lego that converts into something else is amazing. You can also tell that with each Transformer set Lego is getting better at the conversion element. As much as I love the Optimus set, it's fragile due to all the moveable parts, but Soundwave feels a lot more sturdy. I hope Lego keeps making Transformer sets!

This makes the 112th set that I have purchased from Lego and so far it is the absolute best set I have ever put together. The only set that comes close. Is the UCS razor crest. The build experience, the play features the mobility the way, this thing transforms and all the little features with it Are awesome. I use my insider points to get a little bit of a discount on this set, but I would gladly pay full price for another one and I think I just might. It seems to me that Lego sets are just getting better and better as time goes on. I'm just excited and looking forward to whatever is coming next in the transformers line.

I've been a Lego enthusiast since I was 5. I'm now 54 and I wish we had products like this when I was younger. Still, I can make my nephews quite happy with gifts like this Soundwave. The build was thrilling. The final product is outstanding. Soundwave transformation is incredible. The sound effects take this product over the top. The iconic Transformers sound effect is absolutely awesome! The sounds take me back to the 80s in a supremely fun way. What a tremendous final product. I plan on buying at least three of these Soundwaves and it feels like it's a great idea to put one away and keep it unopened. Easily 5 Stars!

This is without a doubt my favourite Lego set since I started building sets a couple of years ago. The build itself was intricate at times and at times frustrating. But, that didn't stop me from enjoying it. The finished product is just brilliant and it's easily the best from the trio of released Transformers sets But, it's the sound brick that made me really smile. Hearing Soundwave speak brought back childhood memories watching Transformers during the summer holidays. I would definitely recommend buying this and adding to your collection.

Awesome build. I hadn't been this excited about a release since Rivendell and it didn't disappoint. Far superior to Prime from a build process and integrity standpoint. Great creativity and variety. Plus, the sound brick has far more clips than the preview/demo seemed to suggest. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I'm so impressed with the designers and blow away with how well made this one is compared to prime and bumblebee

The set captures perfectly what G1 Soundwave is supposed to be and his casseticons, which I would've never thought that they would make their Brick-Built appearance. The building experience is amazing and the end result even better. LEGO knocked it out of the park with the sound brick. Soundwave is indeed Superior!
