LEGO Ideas Birds 580 Piece Building Set 21301

Love the birds, and LOVED the ease with which I got them. Thank you Walmart! The order came in early and I picked it up without shipping cost from my local Walmart. It was so easy.

I've wanted this set ever since it came out and just never got it. I saw it was ok sale at Walmart so I bought it online. I'm glad I got it because it is one of my new favorite sets. I really like building stuff like this and I am really fascinated by birds! The Blue Jay is my favorite out of all of them. Great builds, great birds, and just all around great set!

I purchased this Lego Bird set to build as my whole Family are lego builders so I figured I give it a shot and when I saw this set available I thought it was perfect for me as to building trucks and cars like my Hubby and boys build. I really like them and they are so cool.

These birds look amazing, as expected. The wings of the blue jay can move slightly. The tail feathers of the Robin can move. The hummingbird's head can move. The entire set displays well as a group. The hummingbird is somewhat disappointing in comparison to the blue jay (which has more detail) and the robin (which is my favorite bird after completing the build because it looks great from any angle). I noticed that the hummingbird does in fact have eyes though. The eyes are black like the eyes of the other birds, but not built on the side of the head. Also, the area around the hummingbird's eyes is black. This makes it difficult to notice the eyes from far away. I highly recommend this set if you can even find it because lego officially retired it in January 2016, and it was already rare before retirement.

This set was just as beautiful as I thought it would be. There are 3 separate builds which are very nicely detailed. The colors are perfect, and these look outstanding on display! I hope Lego comes out with more birds, since this set is now retired..

These are not available anymore at Lego s@h, get them if you want them, don't know how Walmart still has these. They are fun to build and look fantastic.

I love unleashing creatuivity with an unexpected use of Lego blocks. More than vehicles and buildings, there is a nature oriented motif! More birds and plants please!

I was thrilled to get this set. A separate instruction book for each bird with easy to follow directions. Turned out perfect.

expensive if you ask me. but it is a cool set. and if your really into birds youll love it even more.

Great product to have elderly people to sort and help put together. They truly enjoy the birds when done.
