LEGO Ideas Jaws Set - Diorama Kit for Fans of The Classic Movie - Fathers Day Gift - Orca Boat and Chief Brody, Hooper and Quint Minifigures - 21350

This is the first kit I've built since I was a kid, nearly 40 years and I love it! Easy and fun to build, and looks great. Some small fiddly bits here and there but I have none popping off as others have experienced, even with the aftermarket light kit fitted. I love the little details such as chum bucket, gas tanks, cage etc. The only small quibble is that the Orca doesn't attach to the display base. A must for any Jaws fan.

Two thirds through this build and already feeling ( like a good book) sad that I’m coming to the end of this build. It’s been some 45 ish years since my last Lego set and had forgotten how brilliant they are both technically and, with age, how good they are for mindfulness. Thank you Lego 😍 bring on the next one.

Fantastic. Watched the film while building. Have noticed the colours in the books that I've had lately are making it difficult to see and I need a torch at times, but that could just be my failing eyesight as I get older! An excellent set that I thoroughly enjoyed building.

The final result is a brilliant model of the shark attacking the Orca and its three heroes - it really does show the power and savagery of the battle. However the build is frustrating with the bow section and the shark not having the same solid construction as other sets. As per the previous review bits drop off all over the place when trying to pull the pieces together. Buy some super glue and just stick the offending pieces together - I used to glue merryily away all my Airfix kits when I was 12 years old so just doing the same in my second childhood. PS. I actually bought the DVD of the Spielberg film to get me in the mood - now 40 plus years old and still brilliant. Spielberg sure knows how to pile on the tension!

My first big piece and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s a joy opening each new packet for the next part of the build.

Spectacular build! Can almost smell the diesel from the boat. Building Bruce’s jaw was satisfying!!! I get so much enjoyment looking at this piece. The wave board setting is nice. The bow, and all-round fragility were exhausting. Once built she’s very sturdy. Mostly.

If you a jaws fan you need this set, it looks absolutely amazing so like the original spawn Jaws model. It was super fun to build, I love the way you can remove Bruce and put him on his separate wee stand he looks amazing Well done Lego looks fantastic, get buying it guys

So excited to build this and honestly, once built it looks incredible. There are caveats however. It’s quite a frustrating hold in parts. The way the front of the boat is designed and attached could be better. I found on numerous occasions that bricks would come apart mid assembly and putting them back was a pain. Also some of the build steps seemed out of order to me. Assembling the mast and the rigging was alright, but to then have to tip the boat over and place bricks on the underside? This could have been done before as turning the boat over causes handling issues and made the rigging come apart. However, don’t let this put you off. Once completed and displayed, it’s awesome.

Bag 4 is full of pieces that don't match the instructions and does not have the pieces specified by the instructions. In fact several of the pieces are not listed in the inventory at all. Seems to be a known thing as I could find instructions online from non lego sources to build that section and have it work with the pieces provided.
