LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age 21340 Adult Building Set, Build and Display 4 Connectible 3D Postcard Models, Gift Idea for Sci-Fi and Astronomy Lovers to Build and Hang or Display Freestanding

Love these "postcards", one of my favourite sets to display from 2023. I did however find the green gradient off-putting as a sky and thankfully had a bunch of purple pieces to make a gradient from other less used sets. This is my preferred display, if I had just used what is included in the box I wouldn't be choosing to display "Into the unknown" with the other 3 (or potentially at all). Part of the beauty of Lego is choosing how you would like to change it and customize. This set already does well with providing good amount of choices in display-ability.

This Lego is beautiful. If you have it hung on the wall with (or without) multicolor LED lights, the set is captivating. I have mine stacked individually spaced out in a column on my wall and they are mesmerizing. Always the first thing I stare at in my room now. This set is clearly designed to be hung or at least displayed somewhere flat, and left alone. When it is used as designed, it is flawless. Rating this set for its playability is not fair, it is not meant to be played with. Very satisfied.

This is an absolutely stunning display piece, and fun build! It may not be the biggest or most intricate, but it's absolutely beautiful and the option to wall mount, or shelf display, together or apart or any order you'd like them in has made this one of my all time favorites. I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

The size and assembly is much more convenient for small display and convenience of storage into quart size ziplock bags when you have to move to a different office space. building it was pretty relaxing and fun.

I really liked the aesthetic of these little vignettes… such simple design elements that come together so beautifully. Quick, simple builds. Kudos to the fan designer!

This piece was so fun to work with and the final result is amazing! I love anything Lego that can be used as home decor! This piece goes above and beyond on that!

This was a really satisfying build - each panel took about 10-20 min on average to build. LEGO really did a fantastic job with the Build Instructions (the colour distinction guide was perfect - as past sets had gradients of colour that were hard to discern). The clever design elements were fun to learn as well - the use of Technic beam to secure the build was smart (perhaps more seasoned builders already know this approach, but it was fun for me to discover). I'd love to see some licensed versions of these postcard-style panels for some modern sci-fi films! (Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune, and so on). Keep the LEGO Art coming!

This was my birthday gift to myself since I love space themed items and I'd seen the campaign for this. They look wonderful and there's a fair amount of customizability. Some of the parts like the large circular plates for the mars panel coming scuffed, and the pinks in the instructions were EXTREMELY off colour, but the box colours were perfect so I used that as reference. I wish the larger circular plates came in a flat pack like the WONDERFUL instruction pack. I love the four separate booklets and the fifth being info on the creator and the set design was awesome. Some small things to address but overall, I'm looking forward to hanging these in the hallway.
