Wife and I finished in a leisurely 5 hours. Love the colors, display versatility, and the 3D effect. The game within the game is focusing on each particular step; then when it’s time to open the next bag of pieces, you see your personal progress. 99% calming, always fun.
I have been waiting to get this set for awhile. And the price point was finally at what I thought was great. Was easy to assemble at sections at a time. Really enjoyed the build.
I built this set together with my boyfriend and the entire time we were just blown away by how cool this thing was. The 3D effect is really captivating. It’s like watching Starry Night come to life with every brick. We very much enjoyed building this set and highly recommend it to any Van Gogh fan.
Christmas gift from my spouse. I have been wanting it since I saw it last year. Big fan of Starry Night painting. It is pricey but I can see why. It took me 4 days and 20 hrs to put it together. I put in the wrong piece in 4 different places but thank God was able to catch it. Really have to pay great attention to the pieces and color. Lots of blue color variation. I was only missing one piece but I used a spare instead and it is not a visible one. All in all I totally loved putting it together and it looks amazing. I will hang it on the wall next to my personal painting of Starry Night. Legos never disappoint but are pricey.
I mean, the item is just so cool! It’s a gorgeous LEGO set. The box came in perfect condition and seemed to have been handled with care (no dents on the box)! The price was hard to pass up, considering this LEGO is popular, it’s either on back order or never a sale, so I was surprised to see the sale, and a good one at that! I couldn’t pass it up. Very satisfied.
This was the best pricing I was able to find for this Lego set anywhere. It saved me approx $28 from what the MSRP pricing recommended. The packaging was only a thin bag, so it had the potential to be damaged in transit but luckily it arrived in great condition.
My daughter was so excited when she received this gift. She enjoyed the process and is totally in love with her creation!
I waited for so long to finally buy this set in the hopes that I wouldn’t have the same issues with pieces that so many have mentioned in their reviews. But that is NOT THE CASE. I didn’t make it off page 1 before I had to submit a request for a missing piece. Page 1!! And I have to wait 8-10 weeks for a replacement. Seriously? I am betting it will take me a year to finish this set because I bet I will have missing pieces in every bag. Lego….do better. For this much money, missing pieces shouldn’t be an issue like this. I’m super disappointed.
If I could give 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY! I received the LEGO The Starry Night today from this seller and the condition was terrible! The item arrived in the original box and that box had clearly been opened! The tamper tape strips on one end had clearly been peeled and reapplied, the packaging face/ design was torn at the tape area. The opposite end of the package was taped closed with 2" wide clear packing tape! Upon opening the box, I noticed that the individual bags of LEGO pieces were torn open, like you would if opening the bags to build the set. There are loose pieces in the box and it is unclear what pieces are clearly missing. The first 4 bags are not present! The cardboard sleeve that holds the instructions has also been torn open and being used to hold LEGO pieces including the assembled minifig. There are several pieces that have already been put together, different pieces and different colors already assembled. This set has definitely been used. This is not what I ordered, and no one deserves to have this experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER.
I really can’t give an accurate rating because the item still hasn’t shown up! I’m rating based on this fact! I’m very upset, disappointed, frustrated, and concerned as to whether or not I am going to receive my order at all!
