Got to say I wasn't impressed at all when the set was unveiled and pretty much got it because who knows when/if another Visitor Centre will come along, I do like it more than I thought I did, however I wish Lego had spared no expense.
Cons:
-To me it looks more like a spaceship than a building, probably because it doesn't have floors, there was a Lego masters episode where a build was criticised for missing some flooring so this feels very odd to me and I can't stick the mini figures anywhere, it's my main grip with it, the lack of stairs, proper fountain is noticeable, there's just something not working here, but overall catches the overall look and feel
-I really don't like the skeleton, it's tiny, it's not pretty, I didn't enjoy building it at all due to being micro pieces, and somehow it just feels random, cause there's no place to put it, doesn't add anything, really wish they've use that piece count for something else.
-Stickers: not that many thankfully, but I have an old Lego set where the stickers are peeling off so I fear for the future of these (although my T-Rex breakout worries me a lot a more) think Lego needs to stop cheapening out on this
Pros:
-the lab and the restaurant are the joy of this build, specially the latter the detail is just right, the glass artwork are beautiful and it just hits all the nostalgia buttons.
-The dinos are pretty cool, while I'm very familiar with their designs I never had any of those and they are pretty cute.
Overall it's a kids set so it's fine I guess, I'd gone nuts if this existed when I was a kid, but I'd wish Lego had gone all out with an adult build, but every year is an anniversary so who knows, I'm still so happy they made the T-Rex breakout scene so this is just nice bonus.
