LEGO Magical Ferris Wheel and Slide 41689 Building Set (545 Pieces)

This was purchased for a State Fair display for a Social Studies project.

Cute Friends set! Arrived quickly and as expected. No issues and I look forward to building it. Friends sets always have great colors and themes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Myself and the kids absolutely loved this set. The box is vibrant, colourful and really shows off the product. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised that the Lego pieces were all in separate bags and were all clearly labelled with numbers on them. There were several little books with the build instructions, all of which were very easy to understand, had pictures showing each step of the way which made the process of building really easy and also showed which bag of Lego to use for which bit. Once the set was put together, my two children played with it for ages. They loved the little characters and had fun playing on the fairground. It was really interactive with the Ferris Wheel and the slide. I would definitely recommend this set to others.

My eldest (10 years) decided to build it (with a little irritating input from her little sister!haha) Mostly she found the build straight forward. There were a few times she needed a little guidance but it was really fun to make and the instructions were pretty straight forward. It makes a lovely little addition to our lego builds!

The set was so beautiful displayed on the front and exactly what she wanted in a lego for a young 7 year old girl. The round wheel feature and slide she loved so much. Main reason why she was so happy. We had so much fun building it together, was not hard at all to put together. Took some time but that is the fun part of lego building.She now plays with it most days and loves building different things. Love the set how interactive it is and stimulating for a child to play with.. very well tailored made theme for exciting play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set was absolutely the best Lego we have played with (yes even me an adult lol) I love how strong this is once put together which means my 4 year old can also play with it without it falling apart. The children did get over how long it took to put together so I had to finish it. My six year old girl and four year old boy played with the ferris wheel and slide for HOURS! They connected with the characters and were calling them by their names. I would recommend this Lego set to anyone with young kids boys or girls it doesn't matter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colours of this lego set was the first thing that caught my little girls attention, she loved the brightness and the fun theme! My daughter is 6 so it took a few hours for her to complete the set with some guidance but the step by step instructions were easy to follow and the pictures helped to keep her engaged. At the end she loved the pretend play of being at a fairground, and her little brother was in awe by it too as it reminded him of the circus. I think this set would be suitable for 7 and up as the package indicates, I would recommend for any child who is able to sit and concentrate long enough to build it all as it is so much more rewarding for them to do it themselves.
