This is just a fun set! And a welcome change from the usual emphases upon vehicles and dioramas. The main build of Gargantos (maybe Shuma-Gorath in the original comic!?) is nice, with some interesting techniques, and results in a really posable model. There's been a lot of commenting in online reviews about the use of a badly fitting 'illegal' technique concerning the lower eyelid. Whilst this is true, the fit isn't as bad as has been emphasised in the photographs accompanying these online reviews. People really shouldn't be losing their minds over it! It was a fun and interesting build, the posability of the arms is great, and results in a model much larger than it appears in the official photographs. I like it a lot. The figures are also really good. The updated torso for Dr. Strange is nice, as well as the new cape introduced in the recent Spider-man set. The new America Chavez (i.e. Ms. Marvel) figure is also nice, and the inclusion of the LGBTQI+ tiles is a thoughtful addition. This is a reasonably priced set, a nice interesting build that left me smiling, and works great as a display model. It's just a really fun set!

This set is good. It could use some more details. It would be nice to have some more mini-figures because there are many tentacles. There is one part that made me really surprised. Now the mini-legs can move. (My 6-year old grandson dictated this review to me)

I built this with my daughter. A really great set. Her and I both really liked the America Chavez character. We did get a bit confused on the instructions with all of the olive green. But we figured it out. Also, there are 2 parts around the eyes that do not connect correctly causing other parts to not connect correctly. The awesome minifigures make up for this design flaw.
