Wanted this set since it was first revealed, was finally able to get it before it's retirement. It is incredible. Well worth it's price per parts. The build itself is a very solid structure, where the lower floor is rather difficult to actually get into, the other 3's removable window makes for easy rearrangement/viewing. the selection of figures is great, where some are obscure, having DAREDEVIL in Lego form is a very wonderful addition to my collection. (Plz, More Daredevil Lego!!) Only negative I feel is the lower floor being rather inaccessible, aside from that it rocks!
Lets be clear I very nearly did not purchase this set. As a collector of Lego modular buildings I had doubts that this over the top Marvel monster would clash with the sleepy old world charm of my 'Lock Down Street' project. My wife was even more adamant, " Don't buy that, it looks daft". But, I did and I love it. I added a standard white Lego lamp post on the front and increased the depth of the pavement by a couple of tiles to blend in with the rest of the street and just like that it looks wonderful. OK, as I chose to display all 25 mini figures on the outside front of the building its definitely 'busy' out there but I don't care. Oh and the wife thinks it looks fantastic, " its so much better in the flesh than it looks in the photos and although I can't explain it, looks really good in the street ". So in summary a gamble that paid off. Well done Lego.
I have been thinking about this purchase for months shall I shan't I. Then I decided to take the plunge and boy I'm glad I did. Awesome build loads of minifigures and cool easter eggs. Fun for Marvel fans and non fans alike. I definitely recommend this one. Well done Lego 😊
This lego set is Fantastic it's massive and everything I've ever wanted. There's only two things I would change and those are,electro,rhino,Spider-Man Ben Reilly and Fisk minifigures. I know it's a picky thing but other than that there's nothing wrong with it.
Out of all the sets i own the first one you notice is this! It looks insane and is by far my favorite. When building i had a missing piece but got it replaced pretty quick! I love it so much!
Took Curtis 4 days to build after work. But he loved every minute of it. Curtis has autism and a intellectual disability his 20yo and he saved his work money for this set
Me and my son loved the build. It took us 4 days believe it or not but we loved every second of it, we watched the whole Spider-Man series whilst building! Great for staging battle scenes and is our first modular build in our Lego City, Brickston!
This has got to be one of the best sets I have ever built, from the mini figures to the small little details! I had so much fun building this set especially with the fact that I have always loved Spider-Man! And if you do to I definitely recommend that you buy this set!
So when i saw this set announced i was amazed by how tall it was and with the amount of minifigures included in the set was so cool when i went to Stratford to go and buy it i saw it displayed in the window and I immediately knew I would need a bigger shelf the thing that i love most about this build is the third floor window with the green goblin bursting out of it like he blew it up it really gives the building that 3D effect i have seen a lot of people fix the window but for me this building requires that action otherwise its looks like a plain building but i have to say lego really outdid themselves with this one they hit it out of the park so i am definitely a satisfied customer hopefully more skyscrapers can be built for marvel like a bigger avengers tower in the future but I really enjoyed this build and the small details especially with j.jonah.jameson with the webbing on his mouth great reference to Spider-man 1 2002 where spider-man says “let mum and dad talk for a minute” when green goblin attacks the bugle so thanks lego for including those details
Not sure about item but arrived damaged and was not in a shipping box and it looks like it was taped up, so I'm not sure if even all the product is in there as I did not want to open it with the scotch tape that was used
