This was incredible, such a great build I loved it and I own a lot of Lego, massive marvel fan as well so as you can imagine I was at the shop for opening today! I just hope Lego carry this theme on maybe a captain america shield next?
I love Marvel & I loved building this. Only negative thing is that, I don't think it should be an 18+. I've done other 18+ builds that were much more challenging, this was quite easy & completed it in a few hours. My 14 year old would be able to do this quite easily. Apart from that it looks great!
There were not enough grey pieces to finish the handle of the hammer. Instead there were brown pieces left over. Overall this is a good purchase but for its price, I would expect it to include all the pieces and the correct ones as advertised
This is my first time building something like this. It was very fun and enjoyable. It feels very legit. Looking to build some more Lego's. LEZGOOOO! :)
Overall it's a really good set, lots of fun to build and see how it comes together and is able to look great whilst also remaining super sturdy. The mini figure and mini decorations are a great addition and can be easily attached to the base to make the set all one piece which is what I chose to do. Only criticism really is I thought the hammer would attach to the base whereas it just kinda rests between the bricks, however in not doing this, it allows the hammer to be easily removed and can be transported in two separate pieces, so it's probably for the better. Overall it's fairly expensive, but all Lego is in my opinion, but for what you get it's one of the better value sets out there.
Don't be put off by the piece count, this is one heck of a set. The pieces are large, it goes together fairly quickly (feels like you're making actual progress each step) and it has a nice little side build: the cosmic cube, Eternal Flame and Infinity Gauntlet. If you take off a few pieces on the hammer head you can even store them inside. My only gripe is lack of runes on the hammer but the trade off is zero stickers. It's an impressive build upon completion and feels very sturdy. If you're a Marvel fan I highly recommend this set, it really has to be seen in person to appreciate its size.
A good build I enjoyed doing it. Note it only rest on its base so if you want to move it hold it by it's handle (don't throw it) move the base and rest it back on its base
I absolutely love this set. I actually feel like holding the real Mjolnir, I couldn't be more pleased with the size and the weight of this hammer. I might be able to even smash some peanut with this (just kidding). It was a little over a two hour build great way to end a Friday night while watching from TV. The base is extremely detailed with makes a great display. I definitely feel that this product is worth the cost. Detailed, legitimize and weight and will make a great center piece in my lego room. And bonus it comes with an exclusive Thor minifig, just the cherry on the sundae.
It's a worthy addiction. Nice weight to it, sturdy. Build was easy enjoyable enough. Stand was a bit fiddly, though I have no intention of using the stand. As too big for book shelf.
This was a Christmas gift for our son and this arrived in the original Lego box with the shipping label right on it! The box had been damaged and you could tell it had been tapped together! My son saw the package, so his big Christmas present was not a surprise at! We were very disappointed!
