This LEGO set was a hit with our younger nephews, who just so happen to love Minecraft as well. the number of pieces was good for the boys, who are 8 and 11. it comes with 5 different sets of LEGOs to put together to build the badlands. The instructions were easy to follow for the boys and us - allowing them an afternoon of piecing it together. I would recommend purchase!
The LEGO has quality pieces as well as very well written and diagramed directions. The booklet form of step by step instructions make assembly so much easier than on a foldout sheet. I also appreciate that the pieces are separated into 5 different bags so that I don't need to sort through all 538 pieces. Very pleased with this product
Today I assembled the Minecraft Badland set. upon first receipt, I found the packaging to be inviting and easy to open. The box contained the right bags and clear instructions. Additionally I was able to get instructions via my smartphone! This set is great, many unique pieces and a blast to assemble. My son and I enjoyed working through it.
I am a 26 year old woman and I love this product! I grew up playing with both legos and minecraft, so I was so excited to see this combination! This set is 538 pieces, so I expect it to take a little while to assemble, but I'm so excited. I plan on having my little brothers come over to help me. Everything about this set, from the mobs to the chests to the different little ore blocks are SO CUTE! Would make a great gift for anyone who loves minecraft!
LEGO Minecraft The Badlands Mineshaft - Mining Exploration Set with Minecraft Minifigures is a great LEGO set. Our daughter loved putting it together and it was just the right amount of independent play and challenge! The colors are super vibrant and fun to look at!
The lego Minecraft The Badlands Mineshaft was so fun to put together. I got it for something fun & engaging to do with my 7yr old. He absolutely loves legos and is obsessed with Minecraft lately so it was perfect! It kept us busy for a while, which was nice! He loves the finished product & thoroughly enjoys having the Minecraft figurines play through it.
In this house we love Legos and we love Minecraft. My son is going to love this set. The Lego app makes putting these larger sets together so easy. I love all the little characters included. Item is well packaged and the legos are in smaller bags inside the box to make putting them together easier.
I really loved the Badlands Mineshaft kit, the Minecraft theme was well executed. Everything was organized fantastically and wasn't confusing to assemble especially with so many pieces. The plastic was sturdy and my kids loved the Minecraft elements, making it an enjoyable experience to assemble.
The easy to follow directions and the presorted and numbered bags made these Minecraft Legos the *perfect* build for my six year old son. Not only was he invested in the building process but he sat and played with the final product for hours. Since we started building Lego sets together, his creativity and problem solving have significantly increased - he loves to free style build, and I love to watch his process.
Bought this for my son who loves Lego and Minecraft so it seemed like the perfect thing. To me (not nearly the Minecraft fan as him) looking at the photos I thought he would hate it because the set doesn't really look like anything to me. It is kind of a blob of random colors and shapes that doesn't scan well to my eye. When he saw it though he was ecstatic and knew exactly what the "Badlands Mineshaft" was. So it was kind of pricey for a set of less than 600 pieces but if you are a Minecraft fan it's probably a hit.
