My son loved the Minecraft movie last summer, so I gave Lego this for Christmas. He used his motor skills to put together one night. Got another similar set and he has been playing with them since! Bought on sale and pleased with the overall experience. Recommend for kids 8-10.
Grandson loved these for Christmas present. He is a 7 year old builder and mine craft gamer. It is fun to see him transferring his switch game playing to Lego builds to magnetic cube builds. These legos expand opportunities for his creative mind to explore!
Our 7yo daughter loved this set (and is still playing with it). She assembled it and enjoyed the challenge level, I don't think she needed any assistance other than to show us how cool it was between steps. The ghast balloon (I think it's called) looks super cool with the chains made to look like it's floating.
One of the few Lego sets where you actually feel like you're getting a reasonable amount of Legos for the price. Having multiple smaller structures to build in the set made it doable for our child. They could build one and then take a break and come back later.
LEGO never seems to lose its appeal. Reliable gift for kids and their friends for any occasion. Encourages creativity and also teaches them to follow directions. Price point is always pretty high but you always know what you're getting and they always love it.
I really enjoy having gotten this lego minecraft set. It was for my son, and what makes it great is the diversity of the set. It allows him to play with the different elements of the set, such as piglins. It has a lot of diversity. I would recommend this especially if it is your first set of lego minecraft. It is a good vantage point to build off from and to enter that 'world'.
My 9 %26 10 year olds love Minecraft anything so when they had a joint birthday in September I knew I had to get this for them to share. The love doing Lego's together so they don't mind sharing. We love all Lego brand products, they are top quality and the pieces attach together great and stay together great. I 100% recommend this Lego Minecraft toy building set!
This was a birthday present for my 8 year old son. HE LOVED IT! He immediately ripped it open and spent the next hour building the entire set by himself. Now we use it with our other Minecraft lego sets to battle and play. The little trap door egg dispenser is super fun!
I got this as part of my 8 year old son's Christmas gift and he LOVED IT!!! He spent the morning building it and the rest of the day playing with it and continues to play with it months later! He's built Minecraft worlds and modified his own legos to add to his colorful world. My kids don't play video games, but he builds Lego Minecraft and it's a marvel to watch. This set was perfect and really cool!
My child got this for their 7th birthday. He is VERY fidgety. After two sittings (broken up by dinner time) he finished this with enough challenge to take his time but easily enough directions he did it all pretty much himself (2-3 small connect helps.) Would recommend and would gift to any Minecraft lover
