AMAZING my son loved this set I am flabagasted about how much time he spends playing with this set the panda robots are a good addition to the set pigsys mini fig is incredible. My son said to me it is absolutely the best ever thing ever it's amazing
From my son: A fun set with many play features and I love noodles.
When building this lego set I found that it was much more enjoyable then the other mobile kid sets I found that it was also one of the more unique sets from monkey kid as well it's a medium sized set with a lot that goes into it with a lot of play futures all in all I would recommend this set above all other Monkey kid sets
If there's one definitive set that captures the flavor of the Monkie Kid theme, it's Pigsy's Noodle Tank. You probably never knew you needed a giant noodle bowl that's ALSO a mobile food stand and ALSO a combat vehicle. Carrot cannon? Check. Fish cannon? Check. Fried egg shooter? Pig gatling gun? Giant chopsticks? Check, check, check! Oh, and how about a panda robot that shoots flaming sriracha sauce and soda? For the Lego master builder, there's fun techniques in here such as both sideways and upside-down elements. For the action smash-up fans, there's just enough play features -- the rake moves up and down when you roll the treads, plus all the shooty things I mentioned early -- to keep you engaged in the epic battle between, um, homemade noodles vs. convenience store cuisine (?) to keep you entertained. I do wish there was some way to lower the price point so more kids can enjoy this set's sheer zaniness, but I understand that some of the larger elements can push the price up. And the minifig selection is fabulous.
This set is awesome, I like all the details to the noodle tank. The only thing is i wish they used canon characters like Jin and Yin, also wish Pigsy and Tang had the outfits they wear in the show. Overall I love this set.
This is probably the most Lego thing Lego has done for the theme. The bottom half is more tank like, and the treads work well for only one wheel working to move them. The mechanism for the red ends work with moving up and down well, even if I think they descend a bit too low for me. The upper half of the build is more mech like, and it works with the bottom half. The addition of turning it left and right works very well, and is very well hidden. The middle is well detailed, but also leaves plenty of room for figures to be put inside. Both arms have plenty of posability and playability, and I like how the chopsticks can be put onto the back of the tank. Moving to the other stuff, the panda accessories are nice. They both offer playability for the set, and they do look good. The minifigure selection is pretty solid. All of them are exclusive in some way, and they all help to make a scene for the set. The overall value is pretty solid. The amount of minifigures is pretty solid, and I feel the overall amount of stuff feels good for the set. For the amount of good, I feel there are some issues with the set. There are some areas on the tank where I feel there could've been more posability, mostly in the right arm where the pig cannon can't be posed without moving the rest of the arm, and angling the body up and down, since the tread positions have it positioned slightly upward. The mini panda bot also has a posability issue, since when left standing, the entire body is leaned upward, and I feel one hinge joint could be put in there without changing much of the set. Overall, this set has a lot of elements, but they all work well for the set. The tank has plenty of playability in it, and the panda stuff does work well for the set too. I recommend this one if you can get it
Whilst the noodle tank itself is a frankly ridiculous concept, it undoubtedly works and comes together as a surprisingly interesting design captures the goofy idea with an elegant and enjoyable build. My largest gripes with the set are the minifigures and the price, with the unusual version of tang, nigh irrelevant panda characters, and lack of MK or the gold and silver demons, it feels as though the set designers and show writers lacked proper communication.
