LEGO My City Family House 60291

I bought it for my daughter. It looks great, it is easy to assemble, it fits on the 32x32 baseplate so it is easy to move it around, it creates a lot of play opportunities. There is a small garden, a kitchen, a grill, a console, a bathroom, hokey accessories, a dog with a small poop, a guitar, a paint brush, 3 rooms, a car, a charging station... this is a great value for a kid. The only thing I do not like is a car, the roof is a bit hard to assemble for a kid. Overall it is a great set for newcomers.

I LOVE this Lego set. It's a very nice ‘family' house. Issue 1: It would be better if the kitchen and living room were bigger and include more BEDS. Issue 2: After driving the EV Electric Car, the wheel axle had blue paint from the wheel stuck on it. A wheel and a tire are now not rolling when driving the car because there is paint on them. The inside of the wheel must have melted after arriving from the Lego factory and got tightly stuck on the wheel axle. I was unable to get it off. Slightly DISSATISFIED/DISAPPOINTED with this problem. I have attached a photo of this issue. It clearly shows blue paint/stuff stuck on the wheel axle. THE CAR IS NOW UNUSABLE. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had been building Legos since she was 4 years old. She had so much fun building this. It took her about 1.5 hour to build. The details on this set is great. She particularly like the game room since she loves to play video games and there is a cool video game controller and tv. Now she wanted to get the other sets that comes with it so she can build the city. Great set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children LOVE playing with Legos. They literally wake up and go straight to Legos. This family house pack was the PERFECT addition for them. They loved all the intricate details that came with it. There was a gaming system, laundry machines, and they got a kick out of the dog poop. I would highly recommend this set to anyone and look forward to expansion sets like this one.

This was a nice addition to my Lego city and provides a modern housing situation with things like electric car charging as well as fresh design. Hope to see more like this!

Lovely little build to help flesh out our emerging Lego City - really happy it came with some extra road plates.

I got for my son. He just became 12years old but he still loves play with Lego and he has bunch of them. He says this Road plates series are so good. Cause you can build your own town or city. So I got this and skate park ( including road plates) and extra road plates kits. He connected all roads and making his town right now. I pretty sure he wants more big box of Road plates series of Lego means little bit pricey, so he have to wait until Christmas lol But anyways I know all kids loves this!

From my kid "Thank you for my Lego house", She had difficulty when wanting to add a few items to the kitchen area. My kid expanded the kitchen rather fast and added plants to the grass area. More baseplates that are unpopulated would be nice.

The set itself is great. For the city line with road plates, this is very good value and offers a lot of opportunity for customisation. I particularly like the fact that the top 2 floors can be easily removed and changed, as can the balcony. Within the building, theres a lot of detail (bearing in mind this is a city set) whilst still having space to play inside. For me there are two things which stop this being a 5* set. The first is the build experience... for sets like this, you usually can start playing with the building at the end of each bag. Not so with this as its so fragile after the first bag, really it needs the first two bags to be complete before its in a usable state to be played with. The second issue is with the car itself. Its OK... but its so dull and its roof design is fairly fragile. Given the price of the set, and what you get for your money, its easy to accept it for what it is. Overall this is a great set and I would very much recommend it to others.

Okay if you are looking for a child this set may work but there is simply not enough room inside to have any playability. No way for them to move floor to floor and the car does not really suit. I have hidden this on my table to fill a gap but will remove as soon as something better comes along
