When I found this, I was astonished that it was a house. Building was really good, and it was quite easy sometimes. You can open and close the upstairs roof for easier access. There also is an electric charging station for the car. The kitchen looked quite creative and so did the bathroom. My only cons are this: Bathroom looks cramped. | Overall, a great build! I would recommend this to others.

Zero quality issues. I love the instruction booklets. Keeps everyone involved. The electric car is my favorite. Highly recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGO never disappoints us with the level of detail put into every build. First, love the detailed instruction books, yes 5 books each for different sections of the build. Our 8 year old sped through some areas of the house and the car went together quickly. I got to build the upstairs and I have to admit, I needed some expert guidance from an 8 year old but I did it! The greenhouse was our favorite part of the house, you can connect it or have it as a separate structure. From the charger for the electric car to a half bath we were in agreement that this was an especially cool set. Of course LEGO is all about the details, the kitchen was very modern and had some drawers to open too, the roof opens up on the second floor allowing for more play options as well. The only disappointment was the soccer ball, it looked like it would have black lines from box photos but it was just a white ball, going to take a fine line black marker and make my own before displaying the set. This is a fairly easy build because of the instructions and clearly labeled bags that will be either a great display piece or fun for kids who love to play with the sets.
I absolutely love this set: aesthetically it looks really good, the tan brown pieces really suit it and the navy roof complements the rest of the set perfectly. The greenhouse is a nice addition and adds to the 'eco' credentials along with the solar panels and electric car. I especially love how detailed the interior of the house is with kitchen, bathroom, living room and the two bedrooms all well equipped. The butterfly design for the roof is good - exposed studs on the outside look like tiles and having a simple opening mechanism gives easy access to the upstairs bedrooms. The minifigures and puppy are great and at last LEGO have wised up to the fact that not every set needs road plates outside of it! The driveway is perfectly good and you don't pay extra for an unwanted road plate (like in a lot of recent sets). All in all, it's great value and I can't believe LEGO are discontinuing this set so soon. It looks great next to 60291 Family House. I intend to get a second one of this very set (Family house and electric car) so I can mirror it on the other side to continue my street. Please LEGO, do not discontinue this so soon!

Fun set to build not repeative nice attention to detail
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this as a reward to my six year old son after he spent many days reading for at least fifteen minutes a day. He was so excited with it and loved following the instructions to put the whole thing together. Great set!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGO is great because they make sets for kids and adults of all ages and all interests. My daughter enjoys making Friends sets because she sees the sets as a puzzle to solve. She was delighted when I presented her with the LEGO Family House and Electric Car set. It was the largest and most difficult set she had ever attempted and she set to work right away. The set was a great way to occupy her while working on her problem solving skills.
We got this for my son's birthday and he loves it! he says it was fun to build and fun to play with. It's a bit overpriced but a fun build, Looks great in his city
