LEGO Ninjago Jay's Cyber Dragon 71711

My son loves this set. he enjoyed building it and plays with it regularly.

Retired Lego set. My kid loved it.

I bought this set for my 12 year old son and we built it together. It's a sturdy, good-sized cyborg dragon. We especially liked the articulation and the integration of the shooting thing which works really well. We think the colour-scheme is excellent too, overall the dragon looks very good. It comes with some really nice minifigures and my son really likes the hoverboards and accessories.

I bought this set for my son and he loves it after building it he's played with it for hours and looks like he is having fun with the set. If your child is a fan of Ninjago you should buy this set.

This set is amazing compared to the dragons that Lego is making now and I am very impressed with this set as well as the minifigures. I only have had 2 prime empire sets and this is my favorite because the color scheme is amazing, the design is something I never get bored of, the articulation is second to none, and the play features are amazingly fun. Overall I would take this set over all Ninjago dragons that Lego has made in 2025. I seriously recommend this to anyone who likes ninjago dragons or gaming

I loved the toy it was awesome also my favorite mini figures are digi Jay and digi Nya and my most favorite part from this Lego set is Jay`s cyber dragon because of the design and flexibility. I must says you must buy this Lego set it is the best

Great set. It is also the only way to get the Digi Nya minifigure so pick this up while you can!

OK, so going into this set my expectations were very high, as Ninjago dragons are usually amazing. However, I would be lying if I said this dragon met my expectations. Let's start off with the minifigures. Jay, Nya, and Unagami are all nice to get, but Jay and Unagami do come in cheaper sets. The Rats are boring and uninteresting minifigures. Overall, the selection is decent. As for the dragon, I must say that it's very posable. However, the design of this dragon is sub-par. My main problem is the color scheme. I feel the trans-neon green elements are too forced and really don't work with Jay's normal colors. Unfortunately, this problem is not exclusive to this set. A lot of the Prime Empire sets have forced trans-neon green and it really detracts from the look of the sets. I feel that trans-light blue would've worked better on this particular dragon. Additionally, the legs are quite poorly designed. On the front legs, the ankle sticks out way too far from the rest of the leg. Additionally, the toes on the dragon are quite blocky and stubby. My final problem with this dragon is that the tail feels disproportionately small in comparison to the torso. The body of the dragon is so large and bulky while the tail is quite short by comparison. However, this is a minor problem as just adding a section or two to the tail would fix the problem. Overall, this dragon is quite a disappointment. If you want a dragon from Season 12, you'd be better off going for the Empire Dragon, which is much better and costs $20 less.
