LEGO NINJAGO Nya’s Water Dragon EVO 71800 Toy for Girls and Boys 6 Plus Years Old, Mythical Creature Figure Building Set, Ninja Action Birthday Gift Idea

So, usually I don't get much out of the Evo system for these sets, it just feels like I'm playing with something that's incomplete. This set is the exception, however, since it looks so much prettier before the gold pieces are added. The white, greys and blues form a wonderful palette for the dragon, the gold armour brings it more in line with other Evo sets but it just looks so good in its base form. I've actually left the armour off (the sai from the bone accessory pack makes a great substitute for the tip of the tail) and it feels complete and satisfying without it. It feels very alive and very majestic. The included minifigs are also pretty good, Nya in particular has some unexpected metallic printing that makes her feel very special. If you're on the fence about this set, go pick it up. It's a lovely build with some decent minifigs to boot.

I purchased this kit for him to try out because he loves dragons and ninjago. This was a fun activity for us to put together. He definitely needed help but did a good job connecting the pieces I told him to. He especially loved that the ninja could attach to the dragon and ride.

When it arrived, I jokingly told my 19 year old son it was a gift for him! He was excited and immediately set out to work on the Ninjago dragon! He enjoyed assembling it and will do it again when his nephew comes over and maybe they will let me join them! Highly recommend!
