LEGO Ninjago Zane's Titan Mech Battle 71738

The build was incredibly fun using some challenging techniques and the play functions are amazing as there's so many and even bending knees! And the minifigures are PERCFECT!!

This is an amazing set! It is a nice size, and is of great quality. The joint bend and hold up well, and it is fun to play with. My only complaint is that the hazard and finger joint move a bit too easily, but that doesn't really bother me. The mini figures are nice too. Overall, a great remake. 10/10

This is an excellent set with so many points of articulation. It is really accurate and is a perfect upgrade from the original set. It is my second favourite titan mech and has great figures.

Firstly I would like to say I really enjoyed this build. It is a really well thought out mech. The poses are endless which makes for great play appeal if that is your thing plus fantastic for display purposes. The mini figures are cool and with the bonus of a Gold Jay Legacy!. This is a must for Ninjano and Mech fans alike. I definitely recommend this model.

i love when a mach has elbow and knee joints, and the knee joints here are among the best i've ever seen from lego. Really Cool assembly on the back of the knee.

Now for the biggest draw of this set, KNEES. They function great, very good design in them and they have a great amount of friction, so I don't expect them to give up on me anytime soon. The rest of the articulation is good to, love that the shoulder pads can move up when lifting the arm. Now for the rest of the mech. It has a really nice angular design compared to previous mechs. Love the choice of color with the white, azure and sand blue as well. The skirt pieces being able to move on joints to hide the racket joints was a great idea as well. Now I do have two issues with the set. The spring loaded shooters feel too easy to shoot, with any slight graze firing them. My second complaint is the figure selection. I love the current figures but I would've loved an extra ninja, as the original did come with Jay. Aside from that, lovely set and would recommend.

This could have been the one of the best mechs. Having really excelled at the knee joint construction technique, the model is really let down by the ankle joints. They are just too weak and if the arms are moved out to the front. The weight is enough for the ankles to give way and the mech leans forward. The mech has actually fallen over several times.

The build of this set is decent with excellent structure, it has plenty of possible positions due to an evenly distributed weight. The minifigures and playability of this set are its weakest points with limited play features and only 4 minifigures with one of those being the 'legacy Jay' which is more of a display figure. Overall this set is more suited for display due to its large size but is not so big as to be completely unsuitable for play.
