got it, was real, looked real, is real, awesome
This set is amazing value for money! There's a tracer figure with 2 buildable pulse guns, a widowmaker figure with a buildable rifle, there's also a little buildable Heath pack with cool printing. The ship it's self is an amazing representation of the watchpoint Gibraltar payload, the only inaccurate feature, is the ability for a figure to pilot the ship.
This set is really good. Like all the other Overwatch sets I've gotten so far, I got this for the people. They did not disappoint. Minifigs: Tracer: The printing is amazing on this. Her guns are surprisingly sleek and she had a double sided face with one smiling and one smirking. Her lightning backpack thing also fits with the character surprisingly well. I also love the new hair piece. A+. Widowmaker: This character is definitely my favorite from the set. Like Tracer, the printing is stunning. She also has two faces, one with a determined expression, and another with an aiming expression. She comes with a sniper rifle and a grappling hook. While the rifle is slightly oversized, it looks awesome and fits the character surprisingly well. A+. Builds: Drone: I'm assuming that in-game, this is not driven by people. However, in the set, it is. If you want it to be a drone, there are two 2x3 tiles that come with the set to cover up the seat. There are some cool building techniques and rare pieces involved in this build. There's also a little compartment in the back to store a power up that comes in the set. (not shown in any pictures.) It also comes with a docking/recharging plate that is printed very well. A-. Final thoughts: This is an excellent set. You get what you pay for and then some. The minifies are excellent and I hope to see more like this out soon.
Perfect $15 set with two iconic characters of the game with a fan favorite Tracer and it also includes Widowmaker who is also great. The build is great and love to pair it with Watchpoint: Gibraltar
The main build of the set is a great adaptation of the Watchpoint: Gibraltar Payload. However, the build might have been a little more interesting if it were set at King's Row (London) where Tracer and Widowmaker fought during the Alive cinematic short. The play feature of combining with Watchpoint Gibraltar is cool though. WIdowmaker's design is excellent. her printing is spot on and the new mold for her hair is incredible. Her sniper rifle build is also a welcome surprise considering Lego already has a sniper rifle mold they often use with Star Wars sets. The grappling hook is a nice touch too. Her skin color, however, while I understand why they went with purple, probably would have worked better if it were blue, and her left arm definitely should have been gunmetal. but since her arm is an easy fix and her skin color is negligable, 5/5 Tracer is another great figure. Like with widowmaker, her printing is perfect, and her pulse pistols are also great. I also love the inclusion of a blue lightning bolt attached to her back to perfectly represent her blink her hair is great from the front but looks unfinished from the back, 4.5/5 All in all, Tracer Vs Widowmaker is a great set for overwatch fans, Tracer or Widowmaker fans, and honestly, lego fans in general.
A really perfect introduction to the Overwatch line, with two very well made minifigures, a fun little build, and a perfect price. The drone looks pretty accurate to scale with a minifigure, and works suitably well to display the minifigures in a scene. Widowmaker looks fantastic, and is pretty much spot on. Would have been nice to also get a black coloured Spider-Man web to act as her hook, and also a venom mine but she looks great as is. Tracer is just such a fun character and they really did her justice. Again, it'd be nice if they included something to represent her ultimate ability - a pulse bomb - but it is fine as is. Probably the best of all the Overwatch LEGO minifigures I've seen so far.
Full disclosure, I really didnt know that much about Overwatch when I the sets. But my son's play the game all the time. So I bought Tracer vs. Widowmaker to check it out. I have to say I love it. The design is fresh and very sturdy. The print on the base plate is outstanding! With two figures with unique hair styles and prints I picked up a second set. This is a great starter set if you are new to Overwatch. If your a Overwatch fan the set is a must have.
Great set with two of the most iconic Overwatch characters. I love the hair piece for Tracer and Widowmakers aiming face is great. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed building the payload and how it looks once completed. I would definitely recommend. I only purchased this Overwatch set so far but will be finishing the collection if they are all as enjoyable as this one.
I unfortunately was missing the stickers in my set. The stickers are not available in the missing blocks page. Is there a why I can get those? They really seem to add a lot to the set. Everything else is spot on to the game and really brings it to live. Overall great work!
The main build is a fantastic recreation of the payload from the game, though there are quite a few stickers. It is scaled well and has convenient storage for the smaller accessories such as the excellent health pack piece. The minifigures are mostly perfect, tracers printing and hair piece are perfect. The new mold for the pistols works well also. Widow makers hairpiece is great and I appreciate her aiming expression. The printing is well done though the skin tone is slightly off and the printing on the legs doesn't quite match the torso in colour. Her gun doesn't work as well as tracers and the lack of two modes is disappointing. Overall, this is a good set but feels a bit small for the 15 pound price point. I would recommend this to serious overwatch fans, especially those who are fans of tracer and anyone who is getting the watchpoint Gibraltar set as they combine very well.
