LEGO Speed Champions 007 Aston Martin DB5 76911 Building Toy Set Featuring James Bond Minifigure, Car Model Kit for Kids and Teens, Great Gift for Boys and Girls Ages 8 and Up

I got this set for my dad as a gift. he really liked it. as far as the one lil 4 star i gave it is just because all the cars are rather fragile when building and pretty fragile once built. ive gotten a few of the speed champions sets, and this is nothing like the lego of the past. although its not really a bad thing, just an observation. the finer detail the less solid it is. ?

Picked up this set for an amazing price and in which it caught my eye since there was multiple of them on the shelves. And I like it's nice smooth look it has. but I do have some features about this set that I dislike. For example the back molded plastic glass piece comes of way too easily. And the amount of licence plates it comes with. And not to mention needing to place all the small stickers on those licence plates. But overall amazing sell will recommend.

Love the theme, hope more of these types to come. Good details. I like the fact that some details are embossed rather than stickers, I just wonder why they didn't continue it throughout and do away with stickers, I guess for reusability. Personally I don't reuse the bricks, I'd accept losing stickers altogether. Satisfying build when it's complete, looks great on display too. Love to see more of these movie based cars in future.

This was a fun build. I have only built a handful of sets so far. Well, since I was a kid that is. I had the big denim bag w a drawstring that you could just open right up in the middle of the living room. (The one no one used) that living room. And have a blast. These last few builds have brought me right back to that mauve carpet at my grandma's house. Love you grand mom. Soo in conclusion great build, looks good on my shelf w the others. Being a huge fan of James Bond, I couldn't really pass up on this fantastic set. I did take my time over it, but this is because I wanted to savour every single second. I love that there is minimal exposed, brick studs and the inclusion of James Bond too. Although trivia, my only gripe would be the included Spanner accessory for James Bond.

My grandson loves Lego's and the quality of the set was up to their usual standards. I priced the same set at several different sites and Walmart had the most reasonable price, it was in stock and I could have it delivered without shipping charges.

Honestly I think the size of this DB5 is way better than the Creator set, the curve and the ratio is just with a better presentation and not to mention you get a mini figure of James Bond with it

This was a requested Christmas gift for my granddaughter which arrived earlier than promised. Speculated on the “assembly” as I heard no response from her that there were any issues.

A really nice little set which was a gift, not really challenging but a nice way to start a film collection of mini cars. Not sure about the Frank Sinatra Mr Bond

I cannot praise the design team enough! It's very hard for me to imagine a more accurate translation of the real car to LEGO form, all that while keeping in mind that this is intended to be a mass produced set with easy to follow instructions. The build experience was as relaxing as LEGO can offer and the end result is something I am pleased to have displayed on my desk. However, there is one production issue with the set: the stickers. There is an upsetting contrast between the colour of the LEGO bricks themselves and the colour of the stickers, so I would recommend either keeping some of them off or cutting out the small details from the sticker sheet (ie the door handles and air intakes). It is a relatively easy fix so I am not too bothered by it.
