What a fun and unique set to build. Excited to display it with the other Chinese Festival sets waiting to the built.
I recently bought the LEGO Good Fortune set, and it's a delightful tribute to the Chinese New Year. The intricate design, featuring a traditional red and gold colour scheme, really captures the festive spirit. It's not just a fun build, but also an interesting exploration of culture, with the set's vibrant details symbolising good luck and prosperity. The process of putting it together was both relaxing and rewarding, making it a perfect addition to any collection, especially during the celebrations. If you're looking to add a touch of festive cheer to your space, this set is certainly worth it!

This build is beautiful. I loved putting the separate elements together and bringing them together at the end. I even made some modifications to the fan. It looks so good displayed on my shelf!
Christmas gift for my 8yo daughter from her grandparents. Was a fantastic set to build along with her. The end product was stunning. The fan has two design options and we chose the two magpies with blossom branch. You can also easily remove the set pieces for play but we'll likely just keep it for display.
If you are looking to build with others, this is a really nice set. There are multiple components so you can build things simultaneously or “out of order” and it doesn't affect anything. I started by building the fan because it was the part I was most excited about. I'm slowly working my way through the other components. While the fan, vase, scroll, persimmon and ingots are meant to be displayed all together, each component could easily be displayed separately.
If you love the Lunar New Year sets as much as I do, this set will not disappoint! Instructions were easy to follow and you get options for the design on the fan.
The design of this LEGO set is absolutely stunning and well thought out, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. It was a joy to build, and the final look is very impressive. However, I was disappointed that the bricks did not stay together as securely as expected. Two of the three golden ingots and the orange fruit fell off with minimal handling, which made it a frustrating experience If LEGO could improve the sturdiness of the connections, this set would be perfect. Overall, it's a visually fantastic set, but the lack of stability detracts from the experience.
This is gorgeous when completed, fits perfectly with earlier releases, and a fun building experience. If I had any criticism, it would be that the vase is too prone to falling over when sitting on the base. It really needed a pin to hold it in place better.
