Fantastic Addition to the Buildable Figure Series

Justin Tefft May 2, 2025

I am amazed at how good this set is. Chopper made his first appearance in Rebels back in the 20 teens and then in Ahoska a couple years ago and this Lego Star Wars set is just as amazing as either of those appearances. It's well designed, sturdy and to exactly the right scale. I did a short on my YouTube channel @goodlifebricks and compared the relative sizes of the three buildable droids that we've got to date. I think they fit together perfectly. Now, we desperately need a BB-8.

Great addition to the collection

I love building droids so as soon as I saw chopper was releasing I had to get him. The articulation in the arms are really nice. Head movements are show accurate. I'd recommend buying

What I have been waiting for!

aprilxoxo May 7, 2025

As a huge droid fan, I make it a point to grab anything new that gets released—and when I saw Chopper available for preorder, it was an instant must-have. The build was a lot of fun, and while he's smaller than I expected, he fits perfectly into my collection alongside all my other droids and ships. LEGO has truly outdone themselves once again. I highly recommend picking up this little guy!

Props for Chopper

HowAboutSoup June 17, 2025

Super fun build! Getting it started did seem a tad cryptic but it all made more and more as I went along. The bobbing head mechanism is the trickiest part, but even with the movement effect it is suprisingly sturdy. Overall the droid looks amazing! It makes for a superb display alongside BD-1 and R2-D2, when keeping the same astromech types. I would have prefered the size to be closer (e.g. larger) to that of the BD-1 model released a few years back for a better group ratio. Otherwise this has been one of my favourites builds and displays.

Great Model, but Too Small

AuntFlashyGibbon May 11, 2025

I love Star Wars and Chopper is my favorite droid. I was so excited when Lego released this set that I pre-ordered no questions asked. I love the set and he looks great, but it's a giant step down from the previously released R2-D2 model (both in size and playability). I would have happily paid more for them to do Chop justice.

So cute, perfectly scaled

lori_K2 May 7, 2025

Build was fun to put together and the head and arms give Chopper his signature personality. I changed the "eyes" to blue to make him more like the Rebels version (wasn't a fan of the Ahsoka series). Makes a great trio with C3-P0 and R2-D2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Epic new release for any star wars and Lego fan it can't get any better. It is super fun to build and offer hours of fun. It is actually decent size not too small or too big and makes for an awesome display after being built. Absolutely loved it!

Its not a disappointment

donnah198_8457 August 13, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old decided he wanted to put this together. It took him a bit, being 1,000 pieces but he was up for the challenge. The head bobbles and arms are poseable. Great size for his computer desk he wants to keep it in and easy to move without it falling apart . Time to get some more sets for him to build a collection.

Awesome Replica but…

Princess81 May 10, 2025

I am a collector of all Star Wars droid LEGO sets, my two favorite droids in the franchise are R2D2 and Chopper. This set is an amazing replica and was a very fun build. I just wish there will be a larger option like R2D2 had before the smaller cheaper set came out last year.
