A set I was very excited to get my hands on - and it didn't disappoint. The build was very fun, easy to follow and took me a few hours to complete. In comparison to similar sized sets I think the price may have been a little high - but I was happy to pay it. Favourite bit about this set is the brightly coloured pieces and how good the set looks when finished - it was a welcome change from building with Star Wars grey anyway. Would've preferred at least one, or both, of an Ezra and Thrawn minifigure, seeing as they haven't featured in any recent sets…yet. Overall, a fantastic looking set that I would definitely recommend!
I really enjoyed this set as I love the Ghost. I would have liked to maybe also have the Phantom 1 as an option but 2 is great as well. I am disappointed that Chopper doesn't have arms, he is the most expressive droid with those arms! It is sad to see him without them (I had to cobble some together so he looked right). Other than that awesome set I highly recommend.
I'm so happy I finally got this set! The build was so fun, the end result is incredible, and the amount of pieces is satisfying for the price. I have always wanted The Ghost and crew as a lego set ever since watching Star Wars Rebels!
I wasn't sure how this build would compare to the “original” ghost. I was pleasantly surprised by the finished build it's beautiful. I would say it's better than the original, it has a cleaner nicer look. I really love it.
This is a nice set and fairly easy to build. The only thing I would say is that Jacen should have dark green hair like he does in Rebels and Ahsoka. Considering how much this set is, it seems like Lego have cheaped out on the Jacen mini fig by not making him look like the on-screen character.
Honestly, the build itself was repetitive, but not much you can do because it's a bigger ship. I love the fact that this ship came back,as it's one of my favorites in rebels, and i love that Lego released so many colorful ships this time around instead of just a wave of grey and black. Minifigures we're kind of bland, however,i do love the inclusion of Hera and Chopper,as they are definitely show favorites
This is one of the best looking star wars sets I have ever seen. It extremely clean and beatiful. The phantom also looks just as good and is very easy to clip on and off. You get some great minifigures( Hera, chopper, Acbar pilot) which make up for the not so great minifigures( Jacen and Hawkins) The only issue with the set is its interior, however it is very easy to modify and create your own interior. I had a great, fun experience building this set. When playing with it it feels sturdy and there are a lot of fun play features.
Just finished building The Ghost and Phantom II. This is truly a great set, with great detail and play features. The build is excellent and many new techniques to add detailing and play features. The interior is a bonus and we all appreciate the sink – a first in Star Wars set I believe. The Mini-figs are good, and Hera is especially a stand-out with great lekku printing and back printing. The Chopper figure is both better and worse – while we appreciate the back printing, the lack of the side printing on the head means his “arms” are not there. This set has some set-backs though, mostly the colour issues. The engines on both the Ghost and Phantom II are orange “In Universe” not the blue here (I swapped these out), and the spring-loaded shooters, representing the blaster bolts, are red not the green supplied (again swapped out). The biggest gaff is Jacen's hair which is green in the show, but brown here. Perhaps Lego did not get the full picture here. I had to give the set an overall rating of 4 for these issues but overall these do not detract from a great model. Recommended!
This build utilises a number of nixe build techniques to achieve a pretty close to accurate design. For play though the interior isn't massively accessible or detailed and the undercarriage isn't the best looking so I wouldn't display on a high glass shelf.
I had a really great time building this one from beginning to end. The techniques used to achieve the various angles of the ship are done perfectly. There's almost no gaps throughout the entire ship, which is just flat out impressive to me. That being said, the mini figures are the only thing holding the set back from perfection. Jaycen has the wrong hair color. He's had green hair in all media show so far, so I'm confused why it's brown in the set. Lt. Beyta and officer Hawkins are weak additions in my opinion. I feel they should have been replaced with more interesting characters or another Minifig added to the set altogether. I feel like the set is $20-$30 overpriced, but I would still absolutely recommend this set to any Lego Star Wars fan. You'll enjoy it
