Death Star Escape #75229, 329 pieces. Comes with a all new Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Stormtrooper with the newly designed helmet mold. The set has a excellent design that allows you to open and close the door, retract the ramp, knock the Stormtrooper off his ledge, swing across the gap and much, much more! When building the set I was enjoying it so much that had to have the Star Wars movie playing on the TV because it brought back so many great memories of seeing Star Wars for the first time on the big screen. The build might be a little tricky for younger builders that are just starting to work with LEGO. However young and old will love this set because there is so much playability and there are so many ways you can change up the way you display the set. I decided to set mine up next to the Lego Death Star set. Having said that I think this set is a must have on my 2019 list. Both Fans/collectors of LEGO and Star Wars don't miss getting this set. Happy building to everyone.
Another Star Wars set that gets it right. This set is a great value for the piece count. Plus, 3 mini figures tops it off. And a mouse droid! Some unique elements and moving parts make the playability better than most static vehicles/scenes. The movable platform, door, and the figure toppling mechanism add to the creative aspect of this set. I like the way the grappling hook is set up, as well as how you can have Leia holding onto Luke to swing across the chasm in their harrowing escape. Overall, a really great addition to any OTE fans' collection.
It is a great set, super detailed and great for everyone. Always loved LEGO but lot interest over the years. After finishing this set I can't stop thinking of buying a new one and start a collection.
I really love that lego has been doing more location sets for Star Wars, as opposed to vehicles. Having a location to display/play with figures really brings the SW universe alive. This is one of my favorite scenes from the original movie, and this set really does it justice. This set was a fairly easy build, and I love the figures. There are a number of great play features, and it looks chic and streamlined. Definitely my favorite from the Jan, 19 wave.
Christmas gift for grandson. On his Christmas list. Looks like it will be fun. Walmart does a great job always getting orders to me on time and in great condition. Thank you
My nephew is into Star Wars and into Legos so I got this for his birthday. He loved it. He is 7 years old.
Perfect set. My first set to get the New Hope version of Leia.
Good selection of minifigures, good playability as well as a cleverly thought out display set.
overall great set ( minifigures, building ) but just too expensive
