I gave this to my nephew for his birthday He is 10 and he really loved it. It didn't keep him busy for very long, less than a day. It's all put together and ready to add to his legos collection

A must have for fans of the Star Wars Lego franchise. Basically the same model as 9493 "which is retired " with a few differences. This model fits 2 mini figures a pilot and gunner. But the main improvement is the wings lock on much better than the previous Tie Fighter versions. Cons of this are price is high for what it is and the minifigures are nothing special.

Glad this one was not canceled and I guess two out of three is good as I had a second one arrive, but very disappointed for such a late notice on third item that was canceled. Made me have fewer choices at store with such a sudden cancellation when I had no idea it was not readily available.

My 6 year old son, who has been saving his allowance for months purchased this item to have a "bad guy ship" so he could have air battles with his other "good guy" jets. "Bad guy ships" are hard to come by, so we settled on this one. The design made me a bit nervous, but again, there are few (almost none) bad guys. After 3 evenings he got it put together and within 5 minutes of flying it around the house one of the wings fell off. He didn't bump it on anything, it just fell off. I wish I had held off and looked for another option. My son said he'd give it 4 stars and would recommend it to his friends (which is why I rated it as I did), but I'd give it more like 3 stars, and probably not recommend (at least not without a strong disclosure on the fragile nature of this toy). Parents of little boys who actually play with their legos, beware.

BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS SELLER. Bought this thinking it was new in box. The box was in good condition but the Lego bricks are in a Ziploc plastic bag. I would not have bought this if I would have known it was used. I have no idea if all the pieces are there. Debating on returning this due being used.
