Another set I’d been wanting that I caught on a huge sale! A great concept with even better figures that came with it. Who doesn’t need a Darth Jar Jar in their Millennium Falcon’s pilot seat?
Great size, great detailing, amazing minifigs. Only thing I would say is a fail is the playability-only two spring loaded missiles at the front. Very fun to build and put together. Pretty easy to build if you're somewhat experienced. 8/10 set if you get it on discount.
Very expensive, but a very good gift. I got it for my father for Christmas and he adores it. We even built a custom table for it to sit on in his room. The set is a little overwhelming in its entirety and the instructions were a little hard to read, but we had a blast putting it together.
Lwgo, as always, is greta. However, delivering an item without packaging it for the world to see is not a bright idea, Walmart! Woulsve been very upset if had it gone missing duento porch pirates.
Amazing build. I love the figures, the playability, and all the little features I didn’t expect (the modernization of the classic chess game, the exit/entrance, room for an escape pod if you wanted to add one). That being said, I do have three complaints, 1. Cockpit space is really limited. I know it’s not a UCS set, but just a liiiiittle more room would be nice. 2. When fully closed, there’s an awkward fold section between the cockpit and rest of the build. 3. My set was missing quite a few pieces, but this is the first time it’s ever happened in my 20+ years of LEGO building, so I’m pretty forgiving. Overall: Love the build.
First, the third party seller understands Lego. This was carefully, shipped with bubble wrap and everything!! BOX was in GREAT CONDITION. The LEGO as a set was ludicrously overpriced. It's clearance price was still high, but I had an additional $15 in Walmart Cash,( that I can only use at Walmart), that took the price from ludicrous to very expensive. This was still a splurge and I can't recommend a set that is so overpriced for a few cool minifigures and a black millennium falcon. The build will likely be a bit tedious, because LEGO insists on using 2 - 6 small pieces where 1 larger piece could go and make things more stable. The piece count is artificially inflated, just like the Lego prices. Clearance is the only way to even considers sets like this. Why get it? I liked the idea and concept and know that this Licensed Set will appreciate in value. I will still open and build it, but there may come a time when I decide to sell it.
It was shipped in the actual Star Wars box and was damaged. The front side was ripped and a bag was hanging out of it. It should have been placed in a shipping box before being mailed. It was just luck that that bag didn't fall completely out of the box.
Great price on this Dark Falcon LEGO set but received in HORRENDOUS condition. Box had a huge crease down the middle of the back panel AND THE BOX WAS COMPLETELY OPEN. Luckily, I was able to verify all the bags inside were included and unopened, but what an unpleasant surprise. This condition was NOT apparent from the listing. Probably ok to buy LEGO from if aren't concerned with box quality.
Bought these on sale and WalMart canceled my order. They told me to reorder at the retail price and that they would issue me a refund. They then said they won’t give me a partial refund and won’t even let me return them for a full refund. I’ve had to dispute this with my credit card company because WalMart is being fraudulent! I will never shop here ever again after dealing with their lying customer service and shady policies.
The price was great and I assume it is a quality product. But your delivery person failed to do their job and deliver it on time. They either lied about trying to deliver it, or they failed to follow the delivery instructions. I am still waiting on a 2nd delivery attempt.
