The set is a money grab or a quick gift item.
The Phantom is a cool little set...but only if you already have the Ghost and want it to be complete or if you're giving someone low-priced lego gift. Adult collector here..My brother got me the Ghost for christmas, so my first thought was where to get the Phantom for cheap. On its own, the Phantom is unremarklable. A basic shuttle, with a few small compartments and the ability to separate the cockpit from the rest of the ship. The minifigs are cool, especially the droid. I've seen Rebels a few times and the ship is definitely not to scale. If you own the Ghost, then I recommend getting this ship. If you don't, I wouldn't recommend it..... even as a gift don't buy it unless that person also has a Ghost.

Legos Phantom review
Our 7 year old grandson likes the way The Phantom splits into two separate pieces when the fighter "is coming under fire". And the way the wings fold up to make a compact vehicle. Nine year old brother thinks it's great too.
