LEGO Star Wars TM Kessel Run Millennium Falcon 75212

I looked forward to this Kessel Run Falcon as it was bringing something fresh to the collection. I love the colors and added changes to the ship we've all grown up and loved. Easy to build with lasting quality, the set holds together well as I move it about rearranging the collection. Well worth the price for the collector and kid alike! For those who mentioned that the gap is more noticeable, it's only slightly more noticeable around the corridors. I've included images for comparison! From left to right, 75212, 7965, and 75105. If you are on the fence, hopefully this will help you, you won't regret it!

My son, grandson and myself built this. MY son loves playing with it. For the most part, it stays together well. The gun turret on the bottom seems to come off quite easily though when he put mini-figures into the "gunners seat" that's not really a seat but anyway... Also the ramp that is used for egress is hard to get to and is kind of worthless and if you didn't know it was there, you cant tell. Like a few others have said, you cant seat or stand the mini-figures in all places you would expect and close the top properly. With all that, this was really a fun time spent with my son and grandson assembling this together. My son loves to play with it now that it is done. I do have to put a few things back together when hes done but that's OK. They are meant to come apart and be re-assembled. That's what LEGO's do!

Added hundreds of Lego's detailing features inside and out, still 100% original Lego's in the model and functional. Extended the build for days!!!

Fantastic set, most challenging one I've done, Also the bed you have to build just sort of slides around inside!

I recieved this model today as a Christmas present from my parents, it was my main present. I love the designs of all of the figures and the build. Few star wars ships, excluding UCS sets have as simple but highly playable of an interior. I find that this set would be to heavy for the younger lot of the age range to pretend that it is flying but the older end of the age range could play with it easily. If the people I know still enjoyed Lego as much as i do i would highly reccomend the set.

I Love this Star Wars LEGO! It is fun to build and play with!

I really was not sure if I wanted to purchase this at all. It seemed very similar to the 2015 version apart from the obvious colour differences and new characters. But I was in a store, had the last one in my hand and I weakened. Anyway...as a build its quite simple, bot quite as detailed and complex as the 2015 version, and certainly nowhere near last years ultimate version (which I only recently managed to purchase and complete). I have no issue with the colour scheme...it's the early version of the craft and changes are to be expected. There also seems to be an attempt to add more colour to the inside of the craft, with yellow seats, red coffee mugs and green and blue transparent jugs. On the plus side I like the movable ramp, the central gun turret which can accomodate figures and also be removed. And the removable front section is also pretty cool. The piece is also very sturdy and solid, and for those who will use it for play I would say it should stand up to a degree of being pulled about. The negative? I have to echo the previous posters comments about the gaps. They are very noticable, especially at the back of the craft, but all over really. I also had an issue with fitting some of the figures inside the Falcon. Chewie will simply not fit into the main cockpit. I managed to get him into the gun turret instead, but even then had to make the figure lean back quite a way. Second, you cannot fit any figures into the removable front section and close the canopy, even though it appears to be shown in one of the illustrations in the instruction book. Another issue, which didn't really bother me too much but could be an issue for purists if it is repeated in other sets of this item...part no. 4107106, a transparent green piece designed to be used as a jug, only one of these is contained in the set when there should be two. Instead, there is an extra blue transparent piece of the same type, part 4183554. So I just used that instead. Overall I would say this is one for Star Wars completists rather than an essential purchase.
