Easy instructions to follow. Absolutely solid when built. I was concerned about the weight but was easy to move from build area to display area due to how well it was designed. Some parts of the build were tricky, so would not recommend to children. I really like the level of detail which has gone into the design of the build to.

This set is immense. Such a beautiful display piece and it has such a presence in the room. No regrets buying it I would say it's a good price, even with the lack of interior. However, be prepared it is a really boring build experience. There's no way they could've got round this because the ships are symmetrical top and bottom. However, rebuilding the same thing time and time again just get a little bit boring.

I'm a 40 year old Star Wars fan, specifically the Clone Wars era, and grew up with 2 tons of Legos. When I saw the Venator at a Lego store while picking up a birthday gift for my son, I nearly bought it on the spot with the idea of asking my wife for forgiveness later. A year later, after saving birthday and holiday money I finally bit the bullet. I enjoyed myself so much while putting this together, getting time with both of my teenage sons to help me. Couldn't be happier. Now I'm planning on getting a light kit for it. It already makes an amazing backdrop for my remote meetings; the light kit will make it that much better.

What a build. Had a great time building it although it can be frustrating at times but the pleasure you get when you've finished it is unreal.

19 total hours of build time, but enjoyed every minute of it. I thoroughly enjoy the detail it has. Im looking forward to the next UCS set I buy. Now time to make the space for it, always after the build never prior :)

Definitely one of the harder builds due to the different angles and huge when complete so need a good space to display but fun and challenging build. Does display well too, if the space is available!

I collect alot of larger Star Wars sets, this set is a great value for money, however, there are a few improvements that could be done with the flushness of corners and angles. I did have one piece missing which still hasnt arrived after around a month but other than that there were no issues. I do wish however that the instructions came on in a spiral bind book like they do/did in some other large Star Wars sets.

Grandson huge Lego and Star Wars fan. Requested this for 13th birthday. Put together over three weekends. Had couple pieces missing he was able to rig somwthing up to work with all his other Legos. For price would expect to be a little more stable when put together-engines and tail quite loose. He found ways to fix in order to move it but better to build where it will be dosplayed.

By far one of my favourite sets Ive ever built! Keep the Clone Wars sets coming. Build experience is fun. Lego accurately created the Venator into lego. Rex is a great character. Things I would change is the amount of mini figs in the set and keeping the Rex figure as an exclusive fig to this set.

Still in the process of building so far I've come across one piece missing from bag 33 and had to substitute it. Over all it is absolutely awesome. Ever since I was a kid and lego came out with the imperial star destoryer ucs set. I wanted to put something like the venator together, and if the rumors are true about the release of an updated version of the executor super star destroyer being released next year. I fully intend to build that one. I can only hope that eventually lego will do the same for the imperial star destroyer ucs set so I have all three. I also would love to build the light star cruiser from the mandalorian on this scale as well.
