[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been and always will be huge fans of LEGOs, just as I was when I was younger. The Dixie Kong's Jungle Jam is an adorable expansion set that is part of the Super Mario LEGO Collection. There are 174 LEGO pieces that connect to form a stage, including tiny musical instruments for Dixie Kong and Squawks. There are steel drums, a guitar, and even a tiny microphone! My favorite part is the string of lights that cross the entire stage! Another great aspect is that LEGO is actively trying to switch from plastic packaging to paper, and this is the segue. The outer box is cardboard and the inner pieces are in individualized plastic packaging. The stage of this set connects to the larger Starter Course. Once it's all connected with one of the protagonists in center stage, you can rotate LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi, or LEGO Peach to activate and play actual musical numbers!

I got this for my son for Christmas I know he's going to love it he's talked about it, he has other ones that goescalong with this so he's going to love it great price.
My grandson loves building Legos and wanted Donkey Kong theme for his birthday, so it was the perfect gift! He was so excited when it arrived on time!
My son loved this set he found it really easy to build and lived the finished product
Lego app is interactive. My 5.5 year old was able to independently build using the app. Cute set and good value if you have a Mario starter set
We bought this for a birthday party present for a 6 year old boy. He loves Legos %26 Super Mario so it was a big hit!
Nice addition to the Mario Lego sets.
This toy would have been great had Mario been included. The photographer should have avoided plugging Mario into the photograph, because it can result in some unhappy children.
I was horrified to discover that there were no paper instructions. LEGO apparently expects you to install the app on your phone and hand your phone over to your young child so that he can try to follow the instructions on a tiny screen. Not doing it. This set is going back to the store, and I'm not buying any more LEGO sets until I learn how to tell which sets come with paper instructions.
