This set was so perfect for the fact that he loves Legos and Mario (especially). This is recommended for 6 plus years old since it does have tiny pieces. Highly recommended!

This is the Mario expansion kit, but even without the original, it is still fun to put together. This has 105 pieces and did not take long to put together overall. It is easy to follow the instructions and makes my daughter happy building.

What I like the most about expansion sets like these is the can make an older toy set new again and revive a child's interest in it. The instructions were clear and everything fit together well. It looks really good when it's finished.

I really enjoy the graphics of Lego products and the ease of following directions with my son who is 8, the item does seem to be pricey for a 105 piece set but we enjoyed creating it. We finished building it in about 15 minutes and it is now on display in his room. I will definitely buy more Lego items in the future.

Perfect addition to my sons Lego Mario starter set . He was so excited to get the ice extension add on . The added sounds to the course are so cool. Easy to build. It should be noted for those new to buying these sets that it does not include the Mario . That only comes with the starter set.

The quality of this product is exactly what I have come to expect from the LEGOs brand. My one disappointment comes from not having read the description closely enough. I didn't realize that it was a small expansion part of a larger set and would not include any Mario figures at all. The picture of the Mario figure on the package is so vivid that I just assumed it was included. But that was my fault for not paying more attention to the label details. I'm looking forward to collecting the rest of the set.

It is worth noting that you have to download an app for instructions on how to put it together, which I didn't necessarily love. It also doesn't come with the Mario Lego even though it's featured on the front), those have to be purchased separately. Hopefully Lego doesn't switch to digital instruction's permanently, that would be a bummer.
