LEGO Super Mario Nintendo Entertainment System 71374 Gameplay Building Set, Model Kits for Adults to Build, DIY Creative Activity, Collectible Gift Idea

I'm too old for this to matter to me from a nostalgia viewpoint, but I absolutely loved constructing this set. Every little detail is so well thought out, from the satisfying "click" of the spring-loaded cartridge insert/eject function, to the RCA plug inputs, to the AC sticker on the back of the set to the ingenious way the Mario model scales the obstacles. I thought the building of the picture scroll would be a little tedious but it was probably one of the most fun experiences of the entire build. Don't even think about it - order it as soon as it's available, and you'll have a blast.

This set was such a pleasure to build. For me, it was also the biggest set (most pieces) I've built. For this GenXer it was very nostalgic. The console itself looks incredibly real. I had a little trouble with the mechanism for inserting the game. It wouldn't click and stay down, but I quickly realized my mistake and corrected it easily. For me, the best part was building the screen and the mechanism to crank it. It all worked so perfectly, I was amazed. This was definitely the most fun I've had in a while. I was tempted to buy a second set just to rebuild it again. I highly recommend this!

Born in 1990 and seeing this ... I knew it was a must have for my collection. I've owned every Nintendo game system and realizing this had actual play value was mind-blowing. It isn't too advanced of a build so those who are used to intricate LEGO sets wouldn't have a problem at all with this one. Kudos to Nintendo and Lego on this collaborative effort. A+ for the idea A+ for playability (although for immersive sound and reactive Mario that needs to be purchased separately) A+ for execution Highly recommend for all the game nerds and LEGO fanatics out there!

I bought this set in 2021 for my husband's birthday gift, and I just finished it today in 2026. My husband asked me to finish what he started, but because we both super busy at work, I only now had the time to finish the set. FINALLY, I finished the set! It turned out so awesome!!! So nostalgic. It's sad that this product is retired

I wasn't expecting a huge box and contemplated the price and purchase but so glad I ended up buying this for my 12 yr old son. Such a fun bit if my own childhood nostalgia to build with my son who recently discovered super mario bros. The lego set, Once built and in full display, is a great size. I like that my son can use his super mario digit figure from another playset to get the sound working too. Simply amazing!!!

Walmart came thru on this item. Ordered Memorial day at around 3pm, it was delivered next day by 11 am. Awesome! Happy with purchase!

This is a super rare set, extremely difficult to find. Those who claim to have it either have inaccurate inventory and cancel the order due to the item being out of stock, or are selling it well above MSRP. Walmart not only had the item in stock, but is selling it for list price!

After over 500 sets built, this is easily in my top three. I loved this build. It's clever and fun to engage with, but the build itself was well-designed, user-friendly, creative and smart, and it's fun to build something that's uncanny in what it's representing. I kept saying out loud while building: "This is such a great build," and enjoyed my wife seeing the final product. The interactive cartridge (and realistic resistance!) is reminiscent of hanging out with friends in 1993. I cannot recommend this set enough.

This is a pretty good replica of the Nintendo system, but just a little smaller. It’s like 3/4 size of the original. It’s fine, but might as well make it life size in my opinion. Haven’t finished building it yet but am excited to get it together. There are 20 something bags of pieces in this set fyi

I was looking for this set for months and was able to find an unopened set on the secondary market that didn't crush me financially. I put it together and the funcationality (i.e. Mario running along the level didn't work at all. I took it apart and put it back together and still nothing. I'm going to try one more time, but at this point this set feels like a waste.
