[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great Public holiday fun for my girls (15yrs & 21yrs) to do whilst spend some rare quality time together doing something that the love, Lego & Harry Potter So cute, lots of thing that a Harry Potter Fan would love: the Pensive, the Sward of Griffindore, Fawkes the phoenix, Mrs Norris the Cat and of course the sorting hat. The attention to detail wasn't lost on them, the "Griffin Door" the spell books that quite literally float off of the library shelves. For us this was truly a terrific set to trail, and it looks like we may be going to get some kits to go with our, already extensive Lego and Harry Potter collections.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Dumbledores office is aged at 8+, this could even be lowered to 6+ if the child is an experienced lego builder. My child found Dumbledores office easy to build. We really enjoyed the details of the characters, the moving books in dumbledores office and the sword of Gryffindor. The size of this lego product is great. The only thing we were dissapointed about is it did not come with a Ron peice. Nonetheless highly recommend this play set, it will definitely get lots of play time in our home!

In addition to the sometimes beautifully designed rooms, the mini figures also offer real highlights in this set. You get a great selection of minifigs and each one is highly detailed and instantly recognisable. The whole kit is packed full of amazing details from the HP movies. The assembly is easy, as each step is depicted and presented individually in the instructions. The parts are colourful, which makes it easier to assign and search for the parts. Was a lot of fun to assemble the set, to discover the individual levels and to remember the films and books

Step 25 shows 2 beige decor pieces (at the front-top) which aren't added until step 26. Otherwise a good set for my purposes - just assembling a minifig scale Hogwarts out of all these sets ;D

It was hard work and my son got fussy (he's 9, autistic) because he couldn't figure out some things on his own - and he didn't want us to help. We love the quality and fun we had building and the time spent together. Will recommend to friends/family. We've been playing and having a blast with this set.

Really enjoyed this set, it is a hige step up from the very lackluster nad sticker covered Dumbledore's office that came in the 2019 Clocktower! The library is a nice addition! While i dislike the fact that the Pensieve was on top of DUmbledore's office, instead of inisde it, the modularity of this set allows you to put both rooms side by side, expanding DO footprint. The new invisibilty cloack, filch, mrs norris, baby fawkes and madame Pince are fantastic additions! However i felt the new prints on Dumbledore are abit of a waste: he doesnt look that different from the 2018 great hall or the 2021 fawks, i felt that the budget for that could be used elsewhere. Overall a great set, with great playability!

I actually returned this item mainly due to size preference. I actually tried 2 Lego items for the very first time. My concerns of detailed instructions and build strength were unfounded. Really not addicted to building, like most Lego fans. It really boiled down to size vs competition. For both Harry Potter and Wicked, there are already a lot of prebuilt structures and realistic micro dolls that are almost twice the size of the Lego figures. Pre built items pictured in the back ground and micro dolls in the foreground. Yes, some of the other micro dolls can somewhat go with like the very detailed LEGO EMERALD CITY STRUCTURE, but really just didn't need Lego to check off any boxes. Plus always concerned about long term storage of a Lego built items.

Very happy to get a harry potter lego but very disappointed to receive it with a damaged box. Makes the value as a collectable drop dramatically.

Well, I have been collecting HP Lego sets for years and I have many many sets now.This one is absolutely a disappointment to me.First of all,the price ...it is way to expensive for what it is.The price-value ratio is not good.There are smaller sets that contained much more detail and were more funt to build than this one.I don't know if it's just me,but I noticed that the sets are not so detailed in the last years-there are fewer references to the story.Also,more and more buildings with lots of tiny pieces and they are increasingly unstable.Sorry LEGO,do better.
